Key Insights:
- Two newly created wallets withdrew $17M WLD from Binance signaling accumulation.
- WLD’s derivatives traders who are long are getting liquidated 16 times more than those shorting the altcoin.
- The increase in long liquidations were after WLD price broke below a descending trend channel, usually a bearish pattern.
Recently, Worldcoin (WLD) saw extreme withdrawals pointing to a strong potential long term holding plans or outside-exchange strategic positioning, which may be a bullish indication of WLD.
Whale’s Big Bet on Worldcoin
The withdrawal of substantial amounts of WLD tokens from Binance by two newly established wallets garnered market attention.
One wallet sent out 10.07 million WLD worth $9.51 million and another 8.12 million WLD worth $7.68 million.
These wallets had just been filled, which implied newcomers or new players that were interested in stacking outside any centralized exchanges.

It can also be assumed that the funds were transferred to OTC deals or staking, or invested in DeFi protocols.
Smaller transfer amounts between Binance to the recipient wallet (e.g. 1.07M, 9M and other micro-deposits) further contributed to the idea of accumulation.
Yet massive movements of this sort provoked worries when they were followed by redistribution or selling, particularly when reflected by reverse flows back to exchanges.
In short, the repurchases indicated that market observers may need to be cautious of imminent disengagement or policy stake or another market manipulation act, which can play out that would influence the market trend in the short-run.
WLD Derivative Longs See Liquidations
There was also a great imbalance in liquidation in WLD derivatives markets giving long a much greater loss in the market compared to shorts.
As the data indicated, there were already more long liquidations in total at major exchanges reaching at the time of writing this article, $675.97K versus only $39.75K short ones, in a ratio of about 17:1.

This affirmed that long-position holders were the greatest victims as the price of WLD declined.
The largest amount was sold long at Bybit in the amount of $298.85K, then second-leading was Binance’s $227.35K, as OKX’s $97.91K came third.
On the contrary, by-destination liquidations were humble with a Bybit liquidation at 13.84K, Binance at 16.12K, and OKX at 9.79K.
This was a steep liquidation hole that can be interpreted to indicate that there were bull traders who had a very high leverage without being prepared to the price fall.
It was a symptom of an even more general feeling of misplaced optimism and even bad risk management.
Although it does not imply any long-term bearish trend, it only highlights that WLD is highly volatile in levered conditions particularly when there are sudden changes in prices.
WLD Price Action Analysis
Meanwhile, WLD price slipped under an uptrending channel, a bearish signal that indicates deteriorating trend. The break happened at a price of less than $1 and the gradual fall followed to reach the current level of trading at $0.882.
Its bullish movement was being backed by the rising channel that began in early April and peaked at about $1.65. But when price closed below the lower trendline, which was about at the level of $1.20, the momentum turned in sharp.

The rally had peaked near $1.65, but the close below the lower trendline triggered a correction. With liquidation pressure rising and buyer demand thinning, WLD faces the risk of testing the next major support area between $0.60 and $0.70.
However, if price rebounds above $1 and reclaims it as support, a relief rally to $1.20 could follow. A strong close above $1.40 would challenge the channel’s upper boundary again, opening the door for a potential retest of $1.65.
