Cardano price drew attention during holiday trading after an analyst pointed to a bullish engulfing candle on the 12-hour chart. On the other hand, derivatives data showed a sharp jump in BitMEX futures activity.
ADA traded around $0.35 on Dec. 26 as traders watched whether the pattern would see follow-through in the near term.
Bullish Engulfing Setup Draws Attention to Cardano Price Prediction
Ali Charts noted on X that Cardano may be forming a bullish engulfing candlestick. He shared a 12‑hour ADA chart with the Cardano price near $0.356.
The pattern generally forms when an up candle fully covers the previous down candle after a short stretch of weakness.

The chart shared with the post showed several down candles before a larger recovery candle printed.
Traders usually wait for sustained buying and a break above nearby resistance. They avoid treating a single candle as the sole signal.
BitMEX Futures Activity Jumps
Meanwhile, CoinGlass data cited in reports showed Cardano’s futures volume on BitMEX rose 52,088% over 24 hours to about $129.12 million. The move arrived during a period that often sees lighter activity across crypto markets.
ADA posted a modest rebound alongside the futures spike. The token rose about 1% over the day to roughly $0.355, while weekly performance stayed lower by about 5%. Coverage tied the change to dip buying after several sessions of declines.
ADA Price Levels Tighten at This Support
Cardano price outlook has been limited since its Dec. 9 peak near $0.484. Multiple rallies have failed to break past the $0.38 level.
On the 4-hour structure described in market notes, ADA continued to print lower highs while holding above a demand band near $0.35 to $0.34.
If ADA price falls under that band, analysts highlight $0.32–$0.30 as the next support zone. They also note $0.27 as the October 2025 low.
On the upside, immediate resistance was placed around $0.370 and $0.382. It was followed by $0.395 and $0.413 if buyers regain control of short-term levels.
Derivatives Positioning Cools While Network Activity Stays in Focus
Separate derivatives tracking suggested a cautious tone outside the BitMEX burst. Cardano futures open interest cooled to about $630 million. ADA stabilized near support. Traders reduced leverage after earlier rally expansions.
Spot flow figures also leaned defensive in recent summaries. Netflows stayed negative for long stretches. A recent daily outflow hit about $2 million. This showed limited exchange-side accumulation during rebound attempts.
Cardano’s DeFi activity drew attention after the NIGHT token launch. Coverage also highlighted the ongoing buildout around Midnight.
Cardano DEX volume rose this month to over $193 million. January reported roughly $214 million. The latest figures show a slight decline from earlier levels.
Technical commentary in that coverage described ADA as oversold on some indicators. With this, the Relative Strength Index is cited near 27 and the Stochastic Oscillator lines near recent lows.
Reports place the Midnight sidechain mainnet launch in the first quarter of next year. Cardano plans the Leios upgrade to boost throughput with parallel processing.
Other Cardano price predictions framed $0.3056 as a wider support reference. It was described as a recurring floor seen across several months of trading.
The same analysis referenced $0.5141 to $0.5241 as a rebound target area tied to prior zones. On the other hand, stating that a drop below $0.3056 would negate that setup.

Analysts pointed to the 50‑day moving average near $0.436. They also highlighted the 200‑day moving average near $0.669 as a key resistance level ADA must reclaim.
Sentiment also focused on commentary from Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson. He addressed renewed claims about past ADA sales in separate reporting.
Coverage noted the exchange did not shift price action. Trading stayed focused on support, resistance, and liquidity levels.
