Dogecoin Price Holds Key Support as Analysts Eye Next Breakout Move

Dogecoin’s price is back at a level that usually makes traders nervous. The price is weak, the chart looks compressed, and sentiment has gone quiet. Yet several analysts say this is exactly where DOGE crypto has historically built its bigger moves.

The meme coin is trading near $0.072, close to a long-term support band that has attracted fresh attention. Short-term traders are watching $0.0696, while cycle analysts are pointing to a much larger falling wedge that could decide whether DOGE gets another major breakout.

Dogecoin Price Holds Near Key Support

Dogecoin price is trading near $0.072, with buyers still defending the broader support area around $0.07. The latest move keeps DOGE crypto inside a tight structure after months of compression and failed breakout attempts.

Celal Kucuker said $0.0696 is the “main magnet” for the short-term chart. He noted that DOGE may still sweep the weak low below that level before any cleaner recovery attempt. In his view, a fast reclaim after that sweep would make the move look more like liquidity hunting than a real continuation of the drop.

That level now carries extra weight. If DOGE crypto holds or quickly recovers $0.0696, the next upside areas sit near $0.0745 to $0.0750. A stronger push would place the $0.079 premium zone back in play.

Also, Celal warned that repeated 4-hour closes below $0.0696 would weaken the sweep idea and increase the likelihood of another drop. DOGE crypto breaking back through the orange trendline and re-entry into the triangle would cancel the bottom-cleanup setup and shift focus toward $0.080.

Repeating DOGE Crypto Cycle

Meanwhile, Trader Tardigrade said the Dogecoin price is following the same monthly sequence seen in previous rallies. His chart compares the 2014–2017 structure with the current 2021–2026 setup.

The pattern uses four phases. A red arrow marks the bearish trend, a purple arrow shows mild recovery, an orange falling wedge reflects final compression, and a yellow arrow marks the expected bull run phase.

In his view, the 2014–2017 sequence ended before DOGE crypto surged into the 2017–2021 cycle. Now, the 2021–2026 structure appears to be near its final falling wedge stage. That makes the current area important for long-term traders watching for the next expansion phase.

The comparison does not guarantee a repeat. Still, the chart suggests DOGE crypto may be closer to the end of its compression phase than the start of a new collapse. The next major signal would be a clean breakout from the wedge structure.

DOGE Crypto Double Bottom Setup

Notably, Mr. Lueis also sees a possible reversal forming. His weekly DOGE/USDT chart shows a double bottom near strong support, with price attempting to break above a long-term downtrend line.

The setup places Dogecoin’s major support around the same zone where price has spent recent months building a base. If the breakout is confirmed, Mr. Lueis’ chart identifies the $0.35-$0.50 region as a potential technical objective. Failure to hold current support would invalidate that scenario.

This view aligns with the broader idea that the DOGE price is no longer in an aggressive sell-off but in a long compression phase. Buyers have defended the floor several times, while sellers have struggled to force a deeper breakdown.

Analyst Sees Dogecoin Price “Easiest Play”

Separately, MikybullCrypto called Dogecoin the “easiest play this time around.” His weekly chart showed DOGE sitting near a long support region after a prolonged decline from its previous cycle high.

The chart also highlighted falling resistance from the 2025 area, with DOGE crypto now pressing into the lower end of that structure. Momentum indicators remain near depressed levels, suggesting the market is still in a low-energy zone rather than a confirmed breakout.

That setup gives bulls a clear map. Dogecoin price holding the $0.07 region keeps the base alive. A move through $0.08 would strengthen the short-term chart. A larger weekly breakout would turn attention toward the $0.35–$0.50 zone.
