Banking giant Standard Chartered has recently shared a bold prediction for the Chainlink price. Per the bank, the LINK token could reach $200 by 2030, implying a massive 25x gain from current $8 levels.
Interestingly, this prediction comes on the hopes of a strong wave in the RWA (real-world assets) tokenization sector.
Standard Chartered Sets $200 Chainlink Price Target for 2030
In their latest coverage, banking giant Standard Chartered set the Chainlink price target of $200 in the next 4-5 years. This is still a major bullish bet considering 25 times upside potential from here onwards.
The bank’s global head of digital assets research, Geoff Kendrick, sees Chainlink price to hit $13 by the end of 2026. He believes the LINK token will subsequently gain $41, $82, and $133, before reaching the levels of $200 in 2030. Investing.com reported this development.
Kendrick expects the value of tokenized assets on blockchain networks to rise around 12x by the end of 2028. Currently, the market size is $340 billion, which is expected to surge to $4 trillion. He also expects DeFi assets to grow about 37x to $2.7 trillion by 2030.
According to Standard Chartered, Chainlink could benefit from this growth because it charges fees for data delivery and cross-chain asset transfers. The bank estimates Chainlink’s fee revenue could increase roughly 25x through 2030.
Chainlink’s Tokenization and Market Standing
Although the performance of the LINK token has remained mild so far, Chainlink’s fundamentals have continued to improve. Some of the top Wall Street banks are now using Chainlink services.
Kendrick pointed out that it includes names like SWIFT, DTCC, Mastercard, JPMorgan, and others. He expects Chainlink’s off-chain customers to account for an increasing share of the fee revenue, as institutional blockchain adoption expands.
Kendrick added that tokenized funds and bonds require regular access to data. That includes net asset values, interest rates, and reserve attestations.
It means that Chainlink’s infrastructure demand could rise even further from here. Besides, Standard Chartered also highlighted Chainlink’s existing market position. Its analysis estimates that Chainlink secures more than $110 billion in total value.
It represents roughly 70% of oracle-dependent DeFi value globally and more than 80% on Ethereum. Aave V3 alone accounts for approximately 44% of Chainlink’s secured value.
LINK Token Accumulation Zone and Price Targets
While highlighting Standard Chartered’s bullish outlook for Chainlink (LINK), popular analyst Crypto Patel shared his take on the altcoin. Crypto Patel identified an accumulation zone between $5 and $8 for the LINK token. The analyst’s Chainlink price targets stand at $20, $50, and $100.

The outlook is based partly on the expected growth of tokenized assets, with Standard Chartered forecasting that on-chain assets could reach approximately $4 trillion as tokenization expands.
