XRP price remains under pressure near the mid-$1.30 level, even as Binance reserves and ETF flows suggest shifting market positioning.
CryptoQuant author Darkfost reported that Binance’s monthly average XRP reserves fell from more than 3.1 billion tokens in November 2025 to around 2.6 billion by Sept. 1. That represents a decline of roughly 500 million XRP and leaves the exchange balance near levels last seen in February 2024.
At the same time, U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded their strongest weekly inflows of 2026. XRP still needs to defend nearby support and recover lost resistance before analyst targets near $2 become technically relevant.
500 Million XRP Coins Leave Binance, Is A XRP Price Pump Ahead?
Blockchain analytics firm CryptoQuant reported that XRP reserves on Binance have dropped to levels not seen since February 2024. This comes just as the XRP price closed out August 2026 with a 30% gain.
The average monthly XRP reserves on Binance have declined from 3.1 billion XRP in November 2025 to 2.6 billion XRP currently. It means that 500 million XRP coins have left the exchange. During this period, the XRP price has also dropped from a high of $3.66 to around $1.35, representing a 63% drawdown.

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfrost noted that Binance’s XRP reserves have historically tended to rise during price rebounds before declining again during retracements. The broader decline could indicate that investors are moving XRP into self-custody for long-term accumulation.
The trend also coincides with the launch of spot XRP ETFs in November-December 2025, which may have required XRP purchases to meet ETF demand. CryptoQuant added that Binance could also adjust its reserves based on customer demand.
The declining exchange reserves provide a relatively positive long-term signal for XRP.
Key Factors That Can Support XRP Price Rally to $2
Popular crypto analyst Ali Martinez stated that XRP Price is holding key support levels as spot XRP ETFs show strength. XRP price is trading above a major support zone between $1.31 and $1.38, where more than 4.8 billion XRP were previously acquired, according to the analyst. The zone could prove critical during the current market correction.
U.S. spot XRP ETFs are also seeing increased buying interest. The funds accumulated more than $105 million worth of XRP last week, adding demand during the pullback. Giants like Goldman Sachs are the biggest buyers of XRP, accumulating more than 83 million coins in Q2 2026.
Despite the stronger ETF demand, the accumulation has yet to translate into significant price strength. Ali Charts noted that XRP price appears to be forming a bullish flag on the hourly chart while testing support.
An hourly close above $1.38 could confirm a breakout from the pattern and put the $2 level in focus.

XRP Accumulation Trend Continues
Popular analyst CW has reported that XRP’s accumulation trend remains strong. He noted that buying activity has remained concentrated within the current range for more than two days. The accumulation score for XRP currently stands at 90.

Furthermore, XRP treasury firms are gaining an upper hand recently while eyeing a Wall Street entry. Evernorth Holdings is positioning itself as an XRP treasury company, with more than 388 million XRP on its balance sheet. The company is now one shareholder vote away from a Nasdaq listing under the ticker XRPN.
