Aptos (APT) is celebrating its second anniversary. When writing, the APT price has surged over 140% from its support block in the past few months.
With a 35% increase in the last month alone, APT has emerged as one of the top-performing altcoins in the market. Many experts believe that an extended rally for Aptos tokens is underway.
Continue reading to explore whether the APT price will continue to climb. Could it potentially break through resistance blocks and retest yearly highs?
How Has the APT Price Performed?
Over the past two years, Aptos has firmly established itself within the broader crypto ecosystem. It showcased remarkable price action on the daily chart. During this period, the APT crypto reached an all-time high (ATH) of $20.39 and an all-time low (ATL) of $3.07, with significant trading activity within this range.

In 2024, the price retested the supply block in Q1 but faced a sell-off in Q2. It dropped back to the support block maintained over the last two years.
From August 5th onwards, the APT price surged over 140% from the support block. It broke through the 20-day, 50-day, and 200-day EMA bands with strong buying momentum.
Despite this robust recovery and notable achievements, APT remains 50% below its yearly highs and 52% below its ATH. In the last 24 hours, the APT crypto price has dipped by 2.50%, trading at $9.75.
While there are signs of a potential continuation of the rally, the market is cautious, particularly around the $10 resistance block. It is a critical level for the Aptos token price to surpass. It also makes Aptos’ growth uncertain for now.

Per Aptos price prediction, If the rally continues, this crypto asset could reach $14 or higher. However, a failure to break the $10 resistance could lead to further sell-offs, with support around $8.
Multiple Achievements on the Aptos Blockchain
As Aptos celebrates its second anniversary, it proudly reflects on its significant achievements in the industry.
In a recent X post, the blockchain, often dubbed the “Solana Killer,” reviewed its progress over the past two years and outlined its goals for the third year. Aptos highlighted four major milestones since its inception.
Over the past two years, the Layer-1 blockchain has reached a significant milestone in active addresses, with 27.7 million unique users interacting with the network.
This achievement is particularly notable given the competitive landscape, including rivals like Solana. Experts view this nearly 28 million user base as a testament to the organic growth attracted by the Proof-of-Stake network.
Aptos has also processed a staggering 1.7 billion transactions since its launch, showcasing its high transaction throughput. The network’s impressive Transactions Per Second (TPS) rate of approximately 5,000 underscores its scalability and heightened activity levels.
The blockchain has also achieved record-breaking daily transaction volumes, with peak usage reaching 326 million transactions in a single day. That highlights the protocol’s efficiency in handling user demands.
Aptos @Aptos X post states:-
”Happy Birthday, Aptos!
In just two years, here’s what we have accomplished together
- 27.7M all-time active addresses
- 1.7B all-time transactions
- 326M transactions done in a single day
- 250 innovative projects that are #builtdifferent
and we’re just getting started ⚡.”
Furthermore, Aptos has fostered the development of numerous projects, contributing to its rapid growth. Since its launch, 250 innovative projects have been built on the Aptos blockchain. The network also boasts 149 validator nodes distributed across 22 countries and 47 cities. That demonstrates its global reach and decentralized nature.
Expanding the Aptos Ecosystem and Driving Innovation
The impressive metrics underscore Aptos blockchain’s significant growth within the broader Web3.0 ecosystem. Aptos, often referred to as the “Solana killer,” has effectively competed within the Layer-1 space by integrating new projects to enhance its ecosystem’s efficiency and utility.
In 2023, Aptos introduced the Lava testnet, which simplified the process for developers to bootstrap their applications by offering fast and reliable APIs. Lava’s multi-chain Web3.0 infrastructure has been pivotal in fostering innovation on the Aptos platform.
Moreover, Aptos expanded its capabilities by launching an NFT bridge on Wormhole. This bridge allows digital art collectors to mint their NFTs on any protocol and seamlessly transfer them through Aptos, enhancing the blockchain’s utility and user experience.
These advancements have propelled Aptos to rapid growth over the past two years. However, experts believe that the true test of Aptos’ technology will come with broader blockchain adoption. That will ultimately determine its long-term resilience and success along with further growth of the APT price.
