Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the Rich Dad Poor Dad, has reiterated his prediction of a major financial downturn. In a recent post on X, he identified Feb. 2025 as the timeline for what he calls the “buggiest stock market crash.” Kiyosaki expects Bitcoin to “bloom, bloom, bloom” as investors shift away from traditional assets.
Kiyosaki Predicts ‘Buggiest Crash’ in 2025
Robert Kiyosaki, known for his critiques of fiat currencies, described the upcoming crash as the “buggiest” in stock market history. In his latest post on X, he claimed that billions of dollars would leave traditional markets such as stocks and bonds, flowing into assets like Bitcoin (BTC), gold, and silver. Kiyosaki has warned of economic instability for over a decade but has now attached a specific timeline to his forecast.

Kiyosaki stated that the downturn could present opportunities for investors, citing recent real estate and automobile price declines. He urged the community to “get out of fake assets” and invest in what he considers “real money,” including Bitcoin and precious metals. “Even one Satoshi can make you rich, while millions lose everything,” he emphasized.
Bitcoin Could Surge to $250K
Robert Kiyosaki and BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes both foresee Bitcoin (BTC) reaching $250,000 by the end of 2025. Kiyosaki attributed this potential rise to Bitcoin’s role as a hedge against inflation and its ability to retain value amid economic instability. He emphasized its growing appeal as an alternative to fiat currencies, which he criticized for losing purchasing power due to inflation.

Hayes provided a different angle, predicting a short-term drop in Bitcoin’s price to $70,000-$75,000, driven by what he described as a “mini financial crisis.” He connected this possible downturn to ongoing global economic pressures, including market instability linked to advancements like China’s DeepSeek AI.
Despite the expected dip, Hayes believes Bitcoin will recover as central banks likely resume money printing to combat economic challenges. He pointed to past periods of quantitative easing, which weakened the U.S. dollar and boosted Bitcoin’s appeal as a store of value. Hayes argued this scenario could repeat, fueling Bitcoin’s climb to a record high of $250,000.
During a CNBC interview, Lee reiterated his $250,000 forecast, calling recent market dips “normal corrections.” Bitcoin dropped 15% from its $108,000 high, trading near $95,600 at the time of writing. Lee emphasized that such pullbacks are essential for sustainable growth, pointing to previous corrections of up to 55% in earlier cycles.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin traded near $99K, facing pressure alongside Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) due to global market volatility.
Bitcoin price recently dropped to $101,000 amid global market volatility. Other cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum and Solana, fell by 4%-8%, driven by investor caution ahead of the Federal Open Market Committee meeting.
Despite short-term challenges, Kiyosaki reiterated that Bitcoin’s adoption as a store of value would increase. He encouraged investors to buy Bitcoin, gold, and silver before prices rise further, describing these assets as essential tools for weathering economic instability.
