- The Cardano price remained above the $1 mark and maintained the uptrend.
- Cardano’s growing global influence signals a strong upward trajectory.
Cardano (ADA), a proof-of-stake cryptocurrency, showed resilience and witnessed a recovery at the end of this week. It was sustaining gains above the $1 mark. However, the token faced challenges, with resistance looming at $1.30.
Notably, the Cardano price surged more than 90% in a month. Yet, ADA may not be done with the upswing, with indicators suggesting a higher value in the coming days.
Twice in the past three weeks, the ADA price has attempted to breach the $1.20 mark. Still, the buyer army needed more momentum, and the altcoin was stalled near the critical threshold.
At press time, the Cardano crypto price traded at $1.11, noting an intraday rise of over 1.02%. Its market cap surged to $38.94 Billion, ranking 9th among the top crypto coins.
Cardano Price Breakout Ahead: Analyst Remains Optimistic
Crypto analyst Dan Gambardello highlighted that ADA can hit the $3 and $7 price marks. He predicted this based on the recent outperformance.

He mentioned that the Cardano price could reach $14. That would be supported by a market cap of $500 Billion. The analyst feels that such a rally is possible because of the general bullish trend of the cryptocurrency market. The growing adoption of Cardano could also influence the rally.
From a technical perspective, ADA’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) rested above the midline at 58. That indicated a bullish potential and also has further room for an upside rally. A steady hold above the neutral line would confirm a bullish trend.

Moreover, the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) displayed a positive reading of 0.12. That implied significant capital inflows into the market.
The price action signified that the Cardano crypto held steady above the $1 mark. Furthermore, the token saw an impressive rebound from the 20-day EMA mark.
Cardano’s Security and Market Role: Insights from Hoskinson
Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, recently made a statement regarding the growing skepticism regarding Coin’s security. According to Hoskinson, Ethereum has faced several conventions when engaging with Cardano’s research.
He attributed this to many people’s inaccurate opinions of Cardano’s skills. He also discussed the importance of Cardano’s new partnerships.
For instance, through collaborations, Cardano has benefited from market actors such as Ripple, Stellar, and Dogecoin. As per Hoskinson, such partnerships could help Cardano strengthen its offering in this market. It would also help create higher adoption in the future.
Futures Market Data Outlook
Data from Coinglass showed that the Open Interest (OI) has risen alongside the price. The data denoted a bullish sentiment in the market.

The Open Interest has surged over 2.85% to $917.35 Million in the past 24 hours. Also, the OI-weighted funding rate remains positive, signifying sustained demand for long contracts.
Moreover, the long/short ratio added weight to the bullish thesis. This happened as long positions surged over 58% compared to short positions. The immediate support zones were $1 and $0.90. At the same time, the resistance zones were $1.20 and $1.30.
