Pi Network Price Holds Support as New Browser Upgrade Sparks Bullish Hopes

Key Insights:

  • Pi network price holds $0.55 support zone, a level linked to several historical bounces.
  • Pi Browser adds full account control, enabling seamless KYC and asset access.
  • Breakdown below $0.52 risks a sharp fall; bounce could trigger rally toward $0.70.

Pi Network price is under pressure near $0.55 as traders eye a major support zone. This comes just hours after the Foundation transferred 50 million PI, worth $27.7 million, to a secondary wallet. Simultaneously, Pi Browser introduced full account management, signaling the network’s readiness for broader adoption and ecosystem maturity.

Pi Network Price Bounces From Crucial Support Zone

Pi network price is currently retesting a horizontal support range between $0.54 and $0.57. This zone has historically acted as a strong rebound level for PI, producing several recoveries since March. At press time, the price stood at $0.5559 after slipping 3.12% intraday, but volume remains stable near $20 million.

Analyst Alpha Crypto Signal identified this area as a potential bounce zone should there be a resurgence of bullish momentum. The price chart shows that PI is still under the 50-day SMA and 20-day EMA, suggesting bearish conditions remain. Nonetheless, as long as the token trades above this support and creates a higher low, keen buyers may initiate a run to the $0.70 level.

Nevertheless, a sharp decline to $0.40 may happen in case of a decisive break just below $0.52. There are a few supporting zones between these levels, which cause the risk to be high. Tight stop-loss placement is advised for any short-term long entries as the Pi network price trades at a critical technical junction.

50 Million PI Transfer Fuels Speculation

On-chain data showed that Pi Foundation 1 transferred 50 million PI tokens to Foundation 2 on June 26. The transaction, valued at approximately $27.7 million at GCV, occurred just one day before the Pi2Day event. The relocation of the community members and analysts suggests that this action is a preparation for a larger course of action.

This could be due to ecosystem scaling funding, onboarding costs, or initial groundwork for integrating the exchange. Some speculate the capital could be used for liquidity provisioning ahead of the mainnet or new domain ecosystem rollouts like Pi. Otherwise, it can be used to boost the GenAI roadmap or future staking incentives.

This is one of the largest public PI transfers to date and confirms growing backend coordination within the Pi team. The relocation of tokens within foundation wallets can position the project to higher operational expenditures, grant-giving, or deployment of partnerships.

The timing also fuels excitement across the community. With Pi2Day expected to deliver key updates, the combination of treasury activity and product releases paints a picture of forward motion. It suggests Pi Network is actively aligning resources for a major ecosystem leap.

Pi Browser Now Supports Account Management

Alongside price action and treasury shifts, the Pi Core Team unveiled a powerful new feature on Pi Browser: full account management within the app. This implies that users will now be in a position to access KYC, refresh identities, browse apps, and get ready to list on exchanges, all on a single interface.

This new functionality eliminates fragmentation by getting rid of the necessity to use different apps to complete various tasks. This allows users to manage their wallets, identities, ecosystem apps, and credentials in one location. Icons like Wallet, Blockchain, KYC, Profiles, and Domains are integrated with the updated “Manage Account” function.

A community influencer, Mr. Spock Ape, explained that the feature was one of the steps toward Web3 self-sovereignty. He emphasized that Pi Network is no longer dependent on centralized structures and is building Web3 on user terms. Such infrastructure allows scalable onboarding and access to the tools of decentralized finance for the users.

This rollout also boosts the network’s appeal to developers. With a unified interface, Pi Browser now enables easier app development, better user experiences, and stronger integration potential. Such an infrastructure will be needed as the ecosystem matures to incorporate institutional partnerships and high-volume onboarding.
