Bonk News: LetsBonk Leads Solana Launchpad Race as PumpFun Falls Behind

Key Insights:

  • Bonk News: LetsBonk posted $1.57M in revenue, nearly 6x higher than PumpFun’s $280K on July 24
  • LetsBonk claimed 82.7% of Solana bonding curve volume, up from 3.3% a month ago
  • BONK price falls 1% as Galaxy-linked wallet transfers $18M worth to exchanges

The Solana launchpad ecosystem has entered a new phase as LetsBonk overtakes PumpFun in key performance categories. Backed by BONK, LetsBonk now dominates revenue, token launches, bonding curve volume, and active creators across Solana.

According to multiple platform sources, LetsBonk has taken the lead in market share, developer interest, and user activity. Bonk News confirms the platform is pulling ahead in metrics and shifting market sentiment within the memecoin launchpad segment.

Bonk News: LetsBonk Tops Volume, Revenue, and Token Activity

On July 24, LetsBonk generated $1.57 million in launchpad revenue, making up nearly 70% of Solana’s total launchpad earnings that day. PumpFun, its closest rival, recorded only $280,864 in the same period, placing it far behind.

Raydium was the second-highest contributor with $399,104 in revenue, while smaller platforms like PumpkinFun and Meteora stayed below $3,000.

Regarding trading activity, Bonk News highlights that LetsBonk posted $124 million in 24-hour volume, nearly five times more than PumpFun’s $26.89 million. Volume growth reflects increasing user engagement and developer migration toward the BONK-supported platform.

Token launch data showed LetsBonk graduated 208 tokens on July 24, compared to just 54 from PumpFun. LetsBonk hit a record 282 token graduations a week earlier in a single day.

LetsBonk’s share of bonding curve volume also rose dramatically. On July 24, it claimed 82.7% of Solana’s total, compared to just 3.3% one month earlier. Daily creator participation surged to 6,855, with the platform offering between 37% and 55% in creator share.

Importantly, 64% of tokens exceeding $500K market cap originated from LetsBonk, signaling both high volume and quality token launches.

BONK News: PumpFun Slips Amid BONK Platform Surge

As LetsBonk boomed, PumpFun started to fall on several measures. As a comparative revenue chart in The DeFi Report indicates, PumpFun made less than $1 million daily in mid-July.

In the meantime LetsBonk revenue was rising steadily and reached more than $1.6 million per day on July 23.

The divergence was also caused by platform innovation. LetsBonk had implemented a weekly BONK buyback with 1% of the revenue, favoring demand and decreasing supply. These repurchases will relieve volatility as they create long-term value to the holders.

The analysts have observed that token buybacks in crypto, just like traditional finance, are used to maintain prices in volatile markets.

Also, the number of tokens launched by PumpFun decreased to 6,779 per day, whereas LetsBonk was more than 20,000 in the peak times.

According to SolanaFloor, LetsBonk had already claimed more than 51% of all token graduations on Solana as of July 24. These measures highlight the increased hegemony of LetsBonk and the declining market share of PumpFun.

Market analysts such as Michael Nadeau observe that, whereas PumpFun has infrastructure, LetsBonk has the advantage of community, branding, implementation, and rewards.

According to Bonk News, LetsBonk is still getting existing users and creators, but bringing in new participants is a growth opportunity.

BONK Token Volatility Persists Amid Whale Transfers

Despite LetsBonk’s platform success, the BONK token faced short-term price pressure. BONK dropped 1.24% after a wallet linked to Galaxy Digital moved $18.75 million worth of tokens to centralized exchanges.

These transfers caused a sharp 7% price pullback in under an hour. Earlier in the week, the same wallet moved another $11.4 million to Binance following an earlier $30 million accumulation.

During the week, BONK traded within a 20% range, peaking at $0.00003803 and falling to $0.00003101. The price eventually settled 4% lower at $0.00003283. While the short-term trend was bearish, derivatives activity suggested neutral to slightly bullish sentiment.
