Ethereum price maintains stability at around $4,300 after spot ETFs attracted a remarkable $2.85 billion in inflows. Ether has gained steadily since the beginning of August.
However, resistance remains strong near the $4,500 level. Analysts suggest that traders are closely watching this zone for a decisive breakout.
The recent attempt by ETH to break beyond its recent ATH of around $4,800 broke. However, it fell back into a minor withdrawal. Ethereum price has been showing support at key levels, showing investor confidence.
Analysts point out that the next big rally may begin with continued consolidation between $4,200 and $4,800. Meanwhile, the broader cryptocurrency market experienced fresh pressure, dropping by 2.43% in the past day.
The total market capitalization now stands at $3.91 trillion. Bitcoin declined to $115,000 while Ethereum slipped toward $4,200. This erased more than $100 billion in combined value.
Despite recent volatility, Ethereum’s range is a key decision zone. A successful breakout above the upper boundary could accelerate momentum. The $5,000 psychological milestone emerges as the next primary target.
Ethereum Exchange Inflows Jump Sharply
According to CryptoQuant data, Ethereum flow on exchanges is experiencing explosive growth. At the same time, Bitcoin flow does not change significantly. The most recent data shows large volumes of ETH into trading platforms.
This sets speculations regarding the investor’s intentions. Heightening inflows indicate that sellers are ready to sell. This is because the coins deposited in the exchanges are more convertible to cash.
Ethereum exchange inflow charts display a major spike in the last few weeks. Some days, the volumes rose over two million ETH along with the corresponding price fluctuation.
Ethereum Spot ETFs Hit Record Inflows Globally
Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) registered record-breaking inflows between August 11 and August 15. Ethereum spot ETFs registered $2.85 billion in net inflows in this time frame, a new all-time high.
Bitcoin spot ETFs were also a subject of great investor interest. A net inflow into those was registered at $548 million over the same period. The top-performing Bitcoin product was BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) with a net inflow of 888 million.

The outflow demonstrates increased institutional and retail demand in cryptocurrency investment vehicles. Strong Ethereum inflows indicate an increasing interest in exposure other than Bitcoin, which has long dominated the ETF markets.
Analysts postulate that the spiking price indicates investors’ growing confidence in digital assets following regulatory certainty and upward market momentum. The new all-time week underlines the growing trend of ETFs in reaching the traditional financial system with the cryptocurrency markets.
Will Ethereum Price Hit $5k In August?
ETH price closed at $4,334, recording a gain of 1.41% in the last session. The four-hour chart reflected a recent rebound after the coin briefly touched the $4,200 support zone.
Technical signals showed mixed sentiment. The MACD lines continued falling below zero. This suggests ongoing bearish pressure. However, the histogram indicated the possibility of slackening of the bearish momentum.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) recorded 42.59. This meant that Ethereum was trading in a neutral position but in the direction toward the oversold zone.
The most crucial resistance was at $4,500, where sales had halted gains in the past. A bullish breakout and move above this zone may be the momentum. This guided the price to the next primary psychological level of $5,000.
On the negative, a failure to maintain above the pivotal level of $4,200 might subject the market to greater losses. That brought ETH providers nearer to the $3,800 psychological support.
