The crypto market is sending good signals that altcoin may soon be on a rally. To support this perspective, analysts are following historical patterns, technical trends and the history of Bitcoin. Several signs are pointing to the possibility of altseason returning in the near future, and altcoins are set to control the market momentum.
Altcoin Rally Outlook Strengthens as Phase 2 Ends
According to Javon Marks, altcoins tend to pass through two significant stages before bigger rallies commence. In his analysis, Phase 1 is over, whereas Phase 2 is almost over. This arrangement usually leads to powerful rallies in altcoins.

Marks emphasized the fact that historical altcoin cycles have this form. It is depicted on charts with repeating corrective movements and powerful recoveries and culminating in long altseason runs. His point was that the altcoin party season can start very soon, which is a continuation of the past trends. The implication is that a strong altcoin boom might happen as Phase 2 is finished.
Cup and Handle Pattern Indicates High Altcoin Season
In addition, Titan of Crypto identified a cup and handle formation on the total altcoin market cap chart. Such technical formation usually conveys continuity, with higher price breakages following consolidation. Titan reckons that the formation indicates that altcoins may rise in the near future.
According to his forecast, he has a clear breakout point that will mark the start of an altseason, which is above the long-term resistance. Should it be confirmed, Titan said it would add more value to altcoins than it had in previous cycles. He noted that the current setup supports one of the most potent views of an altcoin rally in recent years.
Bitcoin Timeline Aligns With Altcoin Rally
In the meantime, CryptoJelle reviewed the historical performance of Bitcoin and its effect on altcoins. According to his analysis, Bitcoin generally rises before the altcoins gaining momentum, and the lagging cycles favor smaller tokens.

Jelle described that there are approximately 55 days of bullish power of Bitcoin. Should the trends repeat, the altcoins can hit a high in a month. His chart pointed out three past cycles of Bitcoin, each consisting of approximately 1,064 days. The altcoins went into altseason after each cycle and performed better than Bitcoin.
Jelle also pointed out that the SOL and ETH seem to be poised for new rallies as soon as Bitcoin soars. This is in line with the expectations that the dominance of altcoins can increase within the next months. He concludes that the altcoins’ rally time frame coincides with the last cycle stretch of Bitcoin.
Altcoin Season 2025 Mirrors Past Market Cycles
More importantly, analyst Moustache drew comparisons between the present ETH/BTC performance and previous altseasons of 2017 and 2021. His chart indicated that there was an increased low formation, a common beginning of expansive altcoin rallies.

Moustache pointed out resemblances of this structure to earlier altseasons. Alt rallies came to market in both 2017 and 2021 as a result of ETH/BTC strength. He contended that the ETH/BTC chart indicates that an equivalent breakout can happen in 2025.
Moustache claimed that the ETH/BTC pair has reached a critical area that has historically caused altseason cycles. This fact reinforces the argument of a new altcoin boom. He followed that in the repeating history, it is likely that altcoins will do better, and the explosion patterns of past market cycles will be repeated.
