Key Insights:
- Major exchanges held tens of trillions of SHIB for millions of users
- LEASH, TREAT, and BONE showed varied wallet sizes and spread in different regions.
- The Shiba Inu community stayed active as altcoin season talks grew
The Shiba Inu team has released new details on the various token holdings within its ecosystem.
Major exchanges currently hold tens of trillions of SHIB, while millions of wallets worldwide show how wide the community has grown.
The update came as discussions on altcoin season lifted activity across the broader crypto ecosystem.
SHIB Exchange Holdings and Wallet Distribution
It is worth noting that the Shiba Inu team shared new information about how SHIB is held across exchanges and wallets.
In a recent post, Lucie, a member of the SHIB team, explained that large platforms like Binance, Robinhood, and Crypto.com controlled some of the biggest wallets.
These accounts hold tens of trillions of SHIB for millions of users. The data showed that many of the top ten wallets belonged to exchanges rather than single investors.

This confirmed that trading platforms stored the largest pools of SHIB on behalf of their users.
At the same time, more than 1.5 million wallets were listed on Ethereum. These wallets belonged to people spread across several regions.
The strongest numbers came from the United States, India, Turkey, and East Asia. Other holders were based in Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
The figures suggest that SHIB has grown into a global token.
While large exchanges held the biggest shares, millions of individual wallets also showed active participation from users worldwide.
LEASH, TREAT, and BONE Token Holders
The update also included details about other tokens in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
LEASH, which was described as the rarest of the group, had around 30,900 wallets on Ethereum.
The top ten wallets held 27.7% of the total supply. Many of these belonged to exchanges and staking pools, showing that large amounts of LEASH are not in the hands of individual investors.

TREAT showed a different pattern, with only around 3,600 wallets listed on Ethereum. The top 100 wallets controlled only 0.53% of the supply.
This meant TREAT was spread more evenly across holders than SHIB, LEASH, or BONE.
BONE had around 95,000 wallets on Ethereum, many of which are also linked to exchanges.
The regional activity for BONE followed the same trend as SHIB, with the largest groups of holders in the United States, India, Turkey, and East Asia.
Other regions included Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
These figures showed that while SHIB remained the most widely held token, the other ecosystem tokens also attracted users across different markets.
LEASH is held by fewer wallets but was seen as scarce. TREAT is now widely spread among holders, and BONE remains a key token with a large base of accounts.
Shiba Inu Community Focus Amid Altcoin Season Talks
The timing of the update came as crypto traders discussed the possibility of an altcoin season.
Members of the Shiba Inu community showed more activity online, with many focusing on how the data reflected the ecosystem’s reach.
The SHIB team’s disclosure gave a closer look at how the tokens were held and where the strongest groups of holders were based.
By showing the role of exchanges, the team confirmed that a large part of the supply was in pooled accounts used by millions of retail users.
The figures also highlighted how the community extended across several regions, making SHIB one of the most global tokens on Ethereum.
With a properly distributed token, Shiba Inu has proven to be one of the few digital currencies with utility.
This might help in fueling the massive price rebound for the highly anticipated altcoin season.
