Bitcoin Price Dips to Previous Support as Liquidations Spike

The price of Bitcoin has fallen dramatically to the $110,000-112,000 range. This area serves as one of the main support areas. This comes as the market experienced high shakeout with high liquidations.

Bitcoin Price Dips to Support at $110,000–$112,000

As we come to the end of September 2025, the Bitcoin BTC price trend has been in line with the technical data from earlier this month, which projects a drop to the levels before any possible recovery. The recent Bitcoin price range is a spot where Bitcoin has stood.

Analysts confirm that the Bitcoin price pattern is now conforming to previous forecasts. This supports the notion that Bitcoin is now in a support testing mode before it is likely to bounce.

BTC Liquidations Spike Dramatically

Further details on the price movement and the liquidation data show an unprecedented increase in the number of liquidations. This is particularly during the sharp decrease in the Bitcoin price.

According to statistics made by different trades, the liquidations of this specific decline have been substantial, with certain traders conjecturing that the liquidation may be the biggest liquidation candle in the history of Bitcoin.

This huge spike saw some exchanges, such as Binance and Bybit, record more than $11 million and 8 million liquidations, respectively. Overall, positions valued at more than $34 million had been liquidated in all the exchanges, and most of the money was in the long positions.

Such large liquidation volumes represent huge amounts of volatility on Bitcoin as traders scramble to liquidate after a long period of rising prices.

Such liquidations have added to the swift drop in the BTC price and have fastened its downward trend. Nevertheless, the sheer mass of liquidations, too, suggests the possibility of a price recovery.

Such market moves may mean that the excessively leveraged long positions have been drained, thus making a more sustainable advancement possible. The chart analysis indicates that the Bitcoin price is in a consolidation period, trying to hold at the $111,800 price.

Short-Term Data Supports Potential Rebound on Bitcoin Price

Short-term BTC Price charts also reveal that Bitcoin has major support between $111,800 and $112,000. If Bitcoin fails to maintain this level, the next support could be at approximately $110,000, consistent with the previous price movements and trend lines.

The BTC price chart also shows that since a massive increase was witnessed earlier in the year, it has undergone a substantial correction.  Based on the data, Bitcoin is currently undergoing a phase of stabilization. The price has demonstrated strength in the past when testing these support zones.

If the BTC price rebounds, the following resistance zone would probably be around the price of $120,000.

The trendlines drawn on the chart also indicate that there can be an upward trend, provided that Bitcoin can be reinvigorated. Once Bitcoin gathers above the $111,800 mark, the price could reclaim the $113,000 spot before proceeding to the $120,000-122,000 zone..

Generally, the trend in the charts indicates that there has been a minor downward trend over the last few days. However, there is a clear decrease in the selling volume. This could mean that the selling pressure might be diminishing. This may be interpreted to mean that the market is in the readiness stage of the next phase of the market cycle, whether it is a bounce or further consolidation.
