Lucie, the pseudonymous marketing executive for Shiba Inu, has explained why the long-expected crypto bull run has not yet arrived. Lucie pointed to global economic pressure and reduced liquidity as major hurdles.
Regulatory uncertainty and market scams are also holding back investor confidence. She added that the Bitcoin price cycle is not ready yet.
Lucie Shares Five Key Shiba Inu Reasons Behind the Delayed Crypto Bull Run
The vocal Shiba Inu executive shared five reasons the market has not seen a broad bull run. Her first point is that the global economy is facing high interest rates and inflation, which have made investors cautious.
Risky assets like cryptocurrency are usually the last to recover when money is tight. The second reason is that there is less money in the market compared with 2021.
Many investors left after the peak of that cycle, and new money has not flowed in strongly enough to push prices higher. Without steady inflows, she claimed that momentum is hard to build.
Third, she hinted that the regulation is still unclear. Limited regulatory clarity and mixed signals from governments make it difficult for big investors to commit. Many prefer to wait until there is clarity.
Lucie also pointed to the impact of crypto scams and hacks. The SHIB executive hinted that these events have reduced confidence from rug pulls to exchange failures. Many retail investors do not want to risk entering a space that still looks unsafe.

The final point is timing. She noted that crypto runs in cycles, usually tied to Bitcoin’s halving. Past rallies show that major bull phases occur a year after each halving. Based on this, she believes the stronger phase could be seen in late 2025 or 2026.
Why Large Tokens Struggle to Attract Liquidity
Lucie also explained why big projects have been unable to pull in liquidity. Retail traders have not returned in large numbers, even after news of ETFs or new partnerships. Without fresh demand, price growth remains limited.
Profit taking has played a role, too. Many who bought earlier took gains after one to three times growth. Since there was little new money to replace them, tokens lost momentum.
She added that news headlines and partnerships often bring hype but do not always bring buyers. This has left many tokens with publicity but little trading activity.
Another challenge is supply. Staking rewards, token unlocks, and emissions have added new tokens into circulation. These extra supplies absorbed small gains, keeping prices from rising further. According to the Shiba Inu executive, these factors do not mean the projects are weak.
The main issue is that liquidity has stayed in Bitcoin, in stablecoins like USDT and USDC, or on the sidelines. Until this changes, large tokens may keep struggling to show substantial gains.
Market Conditions and Shiba Inu Position
The crypto market cap looks strong, but Lucie stressed that this does not mean a bull run is here. Most of the growth has been locked in Bitcoin, especially with the arrival of ETFs.
Billions of dollars also sit in stablecoins, but this money has not been deployed into active trading. This is why the market feels slow, despite the high cap. Lucie suggested that until liquidity rotates from Bitcoin and stablecoins into altcoins, the rally will not spread.
CoinMarketCap data shows that the Shiba Inu price was trading at $0.00001163, down by 1.5% in the past 24 hours. The token holds support near $0.0000115, but its resistance is close to $0.000019.
Some forecasts suggest a move toward $0.000025 if demand builds. The ecosystem has continued to grow, with developments such as burning mechanisms and the Shibarium project.
The community remains active, but growth does not always turn into fast price moves in a crowded meme token space.
