Top 4 Reasons Ethereum Price Will Hit $6,250 Soon

Ethereum price has stalled below the important resistance level at $5,000. This wavering could be the calm before the storm. ETH has numerous catalysts that could push it to at least $6,250 in the ongoing crypto bull run.

Ethereum Price Murrey Math Line Indicates a Jump to $6,250

The primary reason why the ETH price may be on the cusp of a strong comeback this year is that it exhibits highly bullish technical indicators, particularly on the weekly chart. This chart shows that Ethereum price bottomed at $1,378 earlier this year and then bounced back to a record high of $4,967.

The coin jumped above the important resistance level at $4,070. It is a notable level as it aligned with a level it had failed to move above in March, May, and November last year.

Ethereum price has now made a break-and-retest pattern. In this pattern, an asset rises above a crucial resistance level, then retests it, and finally resumes its uptrend. It is one of the most common signs of a bullish continuation.

Ethereum price then formed a golden cross pattern as the 50-day and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) crossed each other. Historically, this is a highly bullish continuation chart pattern, indicating that short-term investors have prevailed.

The bullish view normally remains as long as the asset is above the moving averages.

Most importantly, Ethereum Coin has moved above the strong pivot reverse point of the Murrey Math Lines at $3,750. It is now making attempts to move above the ultimate resistance at $5,000.

Therefore, a successful flip of the ultimate resistance into a support will boost the possibility of the coin soaring to the extreme overshoot level at $6,250. A surge towards that level will be a 35% increase from the current level.

On the other hand, a move below the strong pivot reverse will invalidate the bullish outlook.

Spot Ethereum ETF Inflows are Soaring

The other main catalyst for the ETH coin is that American institutional investors are piling into its exchange-traded funds. After experiencing a slow start, these funds are now firing on all cylinders as demand surges.

Data compiled by SoSoValue shows that these funds have had over $14.6 billion in inflows since their inception. They now hold $32 billion in coins, which are equivalent to 5.6% of the coin’s market capitalization.

Ethereum ETFs had net inflows of $181 million on Monday. Their weekly inflows rose to over $1.8 billion last week, a sharp reversal from the previous week’s outflow of $795 million.

Ethereum ETF inflows will likely keep rising, especially when the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approves a staking fund that allows investors to generate an income.

Ethereum Network Growing Market Share in Key Industries

The other main catalyst for the ETH price is the fact that its network is seeing substantial growth in key industries.

Its total value locked in the decentralized finance (DeFi) industry has jumped by 4.5% in the last 30 days to $207 billion, while the bridged TVL soared to $648 billion. These numbers are significantly higher than those of other chains, such as Solana and BNB Smart Chain.

Ethereum also has a substantial market share in the stablecoin industry. That’s notable considering that the US recently passed the GENIUS Act. Therefore, these numbers will ensure that Ethereum keeps generating substantial fees over time.

ETH Price to Receive a Fusaka Upgrade Boost

Cryptocurrencies tend to jump ahead after a major upgrade. For example, the coin has experienced a sharp increase following the recent Pectra upgrade.

Therefore, the next major catalyst for the Ethereum price could be the upcoming Fusaka upgrade. It seeks to boost Ethereum’s scalability by enabling it to handle more transactions with lower fees.

Fusaka will also optimize its layer-2 solutions and enhance the user experience. The upgrade is expected to be unveiled either in the fourth quarter of this year or in the first quarter of 2026. Ethereum price is likely to continue rising ahead of this upgrade.
