Solana price is consolidating near a critical short-term support zone. Stablecoin inflows and on-chain liquidity growth are influencing trader expectations. Analysts are now divided on whether momentum is bullish or bearish.
Solana Price Draws Liquidity After $804M Stablecoin Surge
SOL price action accelerated after the sharp increase in stablecoin supply. According to Artemis data, Solana recorded $804.8 million in inflows. This was the largest 24-hour increase in stablecoin value among major blockchain networks.

Liquidity inflows often indicate that trading demand is increasing. They also allow more capital to be available to the spot and derivatives markets. Therefore, traders consider this spike as a bullish catalyst for the short term.
Solana price traded close to $145.30 after the announcement of the inflow. Market capitalization was near $82 billion at the time of writing. Daily trading volume was in the range of $5.7 billion.
However, inflows alone don’t guarantee sustained upside. Liquidity can be removed rapidly during more widespread market volatility. Therefore, price structure is always the first signal for confirmation.
Solana price has been range-bound since rejection around $148 earlier this week. This consolidation reflects uneasiness as there is a hesitation among short-term participants. Traders are now paying close attention to the support and resistance levels.
Solana Price Reacts Near the $142-$144 Support Zone
Crypto Tony pointed out the significance of the $144 level. He said that holding $144 would keep the SOL price structurally bullish. This zone had previously served as a resistance during the rally in early January.

Solana price briefly dipped towards $142.30 on the two-hour chart. Buyers stepped in close to the highlighted demand zone. That reaction suggests short-term demand is still active.
TraderSZ found a horizontal support box between $141.50 and $143.50. Price has tested this region several times without a breakdown. Repeated defense is the key to strengthening the local support structure.
At the same time, there is still firm resistance around $146.80. That level rejected price in the most recent advance higher. A breakout above $147 could bring renewed upside momentum.
SOL price is currently changing between $142.00 and $143.00. Holding above $140 is important for bullish continuation. A breakdown below $138 may reveal deeper retracements.
Short-term Charts Show Rejection for Solana Price Around $148
Lower timeframe charts showed recent rejection patterns. That Martini Guy highlighted a failed breakout attempt near $148. He called the move a potential fakeout due to liquidity.

Solana price printed a bearish rejection candle after touching $148.50. This reaction brought selling pressure towards the $142 support zone. Such behavior is often a good sign of short-term exhaustion.
However, market structure still shows higher lows since early January. This formation implies larger bullish control is still intact. Short-term pullbacks look corrective rather than trend-breaking.
Volume also went down during the rejection phase. Lower selling volume implies a less aggressive distribution. This keeps the upside potential alive.
Traders are now watching the $146-$148 zone very closely. A breakout above this range would confirm renewed momentum. Failure could push consolidation out to $138-$140.
Stablecoin Growth Boosts SOL Long-term Demand Base
Beyond the level of technical adoption, on-chain adoption is accelerating. The Solana stablecoin market recently reached an all-time high of nearly $15 billion. This represents growth of almost 200% year over year.

Stablecoins on Solana have now enabled payments, trading, lending, and settlements. Users are using these assets to protect themselves from exposure to volatility.
Developers and payment platforms continue their migration to Solana. Low fees and quick settlement are still major advantages. These are features that appeal to high-volume financial applications.
Stablecoins are now the backbone of Solana’s DeFi ecosystem. Protocols rely on stable assets to handle liquidity and mitigate risk. Solana enables fast liquidation and execution during periods of volatility.
Institutional participants are also boosting on-chain activity. Asset managers prefer transparent and efficient settlement layers. Solana provides low operational friction and instant transaction finality.
As stablecoin usage grows organically, network demand increases. Each new application adds volume and depth to transaction liquidity. This growth helps to grow long-term support for the SOL price.
