Dogecoin price remained in focus on Sept. 14 as traders watched a long-term technical breakout and renewed attention around the DOGE-1 lunar mission.
DOGE has gained about 20% this month after recovering from its summer lows. Analysts now point to a descending trendline and long-term accumulation zone as the main levels that could shape the next move.
Meanwhile, the Dogecoin-funded DOGE-1 mission has returned to the spotlight. Several reports had pointed to Sept. 14 as a possible launch date, although the project’s current mission page only confirms a broader 2026 launch window.
Dogecoin Price Could Target $0.28 After Breakout
Market analyst Crypto Patel said that the Dogecoin price has completed a retest at a key support after falling from its all-time high. According to Patel, DOGE has successfully retested the broken descending trendline, while its accumulation zone has also been filled. He said the breakout, retest and accumulation structure could set the stage for a potential broader rally.

Patel identified targets at $0.28185, $0.75594 and $2, which means the Dogecoin price could potentially see 20x gains from here. However, the bullish outlook remains valid as long as DOGE holds the $0.077–$0.056 accumulation zone.
Patel estimates that a move toward $2 would represent a potential 2,300%+ gain from the current chart price.
Another analyst Trader Tardigrade said that the current Dogecoin price chart shows similarities to previous parabolic moves. According to the trader, DOGE is currently forming a rounded bottom while facing resistance from a descending trendline. A breakout above that trendline could mark the start of a new cycle.

The analyst added that the current structure is similar to the previous two cycles. As shown in the image above, Dogecoin’s price formed rounded bottoms before breaking above descending trendlines and seeing sharp rallies.
Can Dogecoin Price Rally Begin With DOGE SpaceX Mission
Elon Musk’s long-standing vision of sending Dogecoin “to the moon” could take another step toward reality. It comes as SpaceX’s DOGE-1 CubeSat mission is scheduled to launch on September 14, 2026.
Backed by Geometric Energy, the DOGE-funded mission is expected to send a satellite into lunar orbit. The satellite was fully funded through Dogecoin payments. This could be one of the notable milestones for the Dogecoin community.
This shows a literal representation of the phrase DOGE to the moon. Musk has also separately said he plans to place a physical Dogecoin coin on the lunar surface, potentially in 2027.
In the past, these developments led to a strong upside in the Dogecoin price. Any potential SpaceX mission could lead to further upside for DOGE, from here onwards.
Dogecoin Price Needs Breakout Confirmation
For Dogecoin price, the technical structure remains more relevant than either headline catalyst. DOGE has recovered strongly from its recent lows but still faces long-term resistance.
A confirmed move above the descending trendline could strengthen the bullish structure and bring the $0.28 region into focus.
Failure to break that resistance would leave Dogecoin inside its broader consolidation pattern. The $0.077–$0.056 area remains the main long-term support zone in Patel’s setup.
The DOGE-1 mission and Markus’ comments could increase short-term attention around the token. Neither event, however, confirms the parabolic rally projected by some analysts.
