Tim Warren Projects $11–$12 Target for XRP Price
In a recent podcast on the Paul Barron Network, analyst Tim Warren indicated that XRP price might surge 5X. Warren pointed out that the token could hit $11–$12 before the bull market ends. He noted that XRP has already increased by 380% since last November and expects it to surge once more.
Warren stated that even though XRP price has been less active in 2025, recent trends signal a bull run. He interpreted the pattern on the daily chart as a bull flag, a feature usually seen before an upward continuation happens. In addition, he recalled how he had advised investors to be patient when the token’s price was less than impressive.

Short-Term Pullback Possible Before Bullish Breakout
However, even though Warren is bullish, he noted XRP price might drop temporarily to $2.20. He considered the correction may come first and ahead of a push through the current resistance zones. He pointed out that a retracement could occur from the 1-day chart, as the price had dipped below earlier highs and was at support levels.
Additionally, Warren pointed out that XRP price tested the $2.55 zone, a previous peak, but did not surpass it. He explained that this decline does not mean the trend is reversing. In his opinion, it is simply an expected phase in the market before a rally.
Once the token reclaims resistance zones and volume increases, Warren noted a clear path to $5 initially, with the possibility of continuing toward $11.
Ripple’s Interest in Circle Sparks Mixed Reaction
Earlier on the podcast, the subject of Ripple allegedly considering an acquisition of Circle was brought up. Referring to the rumored $11 billion price, Paul Barron noted that Gabriel Shapiro thinks it could impact the crypto industry.
Notably, questions arose regarding how Ripple could pay for the acquisition. Warren pointed out that if considerable amounts of XRP were sold by the company at once, prices might fall temporarily. However, he mentioned that Ripple has not shown repeated selling of XRP that harms the market. Additionally, some of the earlier worries about retail traders dumping their coins have now faded.
Moreover, he stated that Ripple is focused on a long-term vision for XRP as a key asset. While details about funding are not available, professionals in the industry believe that Ripple’s interest in XRP is linked to its goal of taking a bigger role in global asset issuance.
Market Compression Signals Altcoin Breakouts Ahead
Overall, the broader market seems to show that an altcoin rally might be taking shape. Several analysts pointed out that many altcoins are entering areas of lower volatility. These zones are characterized by narrowing price action, often leading to breakouts when volatility returns.
Analyst TechDev noted an unprecedented level of altcoin market compression, as illustrated by the long-term chart of the total crypto market cap excluding Bitcoin. The two-month Bollinger Bands are at their tightest point since 2017, with the market forming a symmetrical triangle.

Consequently, this narrowing range signaled a potential breakout, with XRP price consolidating just below major resistance. The analyst suggested the current structure reflects historic pre-rally conditions, indicating that altcoins may soon witness sharp directional movement.
At the time of writing, XRP price was trading at $2.36, down 3% on the day. The price dipped from $2.45, showing intraday volatility amid weak volume and minor support near $2.35.
