Will Chainlink Price Hit $30 Soon After Breaking This Resistance?

Key Insights:

  • Chainlink price traded at $19.41 after clearing the $19.50 resistance on strong volume.
  • Analyst targets $30 as breakout above $19.75, eyes next resistance at $22.
  • Derivatives data showed a 66% volume surge and $2.15M in short liquidations in 24h.

Chainlink price broke out of the $19.50 resistance this week, affirming a bullish breakout pattern on several time frames. Currently, analysts are anticipating LINK price to aim at the $22-$30 price range, backed by the solid technical framework. At the time of writing, LINK price traded at $20, with analysts suggesting the rally has further room to run.

Chainlink Price Targets $30 After Breaking Key Barrier

Chainlink price structure turned decisively bullish after closing above the $19.50 resistance zone. CryptoWZRD confirmed that LINK and LINKBTC both posted strong weekly and daily candles. He determined the $19.50 breakout as the critical element that could open up greater targets.

According to CryptoWZRD’s chart, LINK price is poised to rally toward $22 and potentially $30. He stated that a break above $19.75 would add to bullish momentum. A pullback to $18.20 remains possible, but traders are treating it as a buying opportunity. His focus remains on intraday setups to capture volatility around these targets.

The daily chart he shared showed LINK price breaking a multi-month downtrend and establishing higher highs. Momentum has increased sharply over the past two weeks. This structural breakout indicates a change in sentiment and may result in a continuation rally in the next sessions.

Analyst Predicts $150 Long-Term Target if Altseason Peaks

Macro analyst Fitzo Crypto offered a broader perspective. His weekly chart showed Chainlink‘s price moving 6x, with the intention of reaching $150 in a complete altseason. The chart indicated that LINK price has broken a long-term descending resistance and created an ascending wedge.

Fitzo’s analysis relied on historical cycles and altseason dynamics. He noted that LINK weekly structure now mirrors past pre-breakout conditions. His chart featured the green arrow indicating straightforward directions to $150 in case the market conditions concurred. The chart also noted the conflict between price structure and volume support at $15-$16.

He pointed out that a 6x move in altseason is viable, citing historical similar rallies. Although plans on this move are speculative, the trend indicates bullish conviction on a long-term holding.

Analyst Forecasts $23–$25 Zone After Resistance Breakout

Moreover, analyst Aqua validated a clean breakout on the daily chart. In his chart, LINK price closed above historical resistance and now targets the mid-$20s. He added that 20s soon is a realistic target, and backed by recent price action.

Aqua’s chart showed LINK price breaking from a consolidation range that capped the price for several months. The breakout pattern comprised a horizontal resistance zone and a retest of support. His projection indicated continuation toward $23–$25 before potential consolidation.

Derivatives Data Confirms Growing Confidence

Derivatives activity supported the ongoing breakout. According to Coinglass data, LINK’s open interest rose 6.13% to $1.04 billion. The volume of daily trading rose by 66.37% to reach 2.18 billion. These statistics showed increased involvement of traders and more exposure to leverage.

The Binance long/short account ratio reached 2.3956, and the leading traders completed with an even higher 2.9154. The long-term dominance of both OKX and Bybit demonstrated a consistent bullish condition.

In addition, weighted funding rates switched positive in the breakout. Liquidation data showed that $24 million of the short positions were liquidated within 24 hours. This implied bears were squeezed when the price broke the resistance.

Meanwhile, long traders appeared to be positioning aggressively. The ratio of long positions at Binance was 2.3254. Such an imbalance has kept short positions under pressure and gives further momentum to pushing forward to $22 and above.

The derivatives setup supports the technical outlook, confirming that real capital flows back Chainlink price breakout. If volume remains elevated and long positioning sustains, LINK price could soon retest higher resistance zones without major rejection.
