Key Insights:
- Cardano Foundation has released Reeve for efficient blockchain financial reporting.
- Dan Gambardello proposes a Cardano integration with Chainlink, USDT, and USDC.
- Charles Hoskinson says Cardano must win against Ethereum in the long term.
The Cardano Foundation (CF) has announced the launch of Reeve as a solution to fragmented financial reporting. With the Reeve technology, users can effortlessly explore records, generate reports, and gain valuable insights.
The launch of Reeve comes amid an advocacy for a possible Cardano and Chainlink integration. In line with this, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson also stressed that the blockchain must win against competitors.
Reeve Technology Simplifies Financial Reporting
Traditional financial reporting is often criticized for being slow, fragmented, and lacking trust.
Reeve aims to fix these issues by leveraging blockchain for immutable, transparent financial records that anyone can verify on-chain.
A Reeve is an open-source solution built by Input Output Global (IOG), the engineering arm behind Cardano. Reeve utilizes the Cardano blockchain to create verifiable financial statements directly on-chain, reducing reliance on intermediaries.

The data stored on Reeve is cryptographically secured on the ADA blockchain, making unauthorized modifications impossible.
With Reeve, organizations can manage data accessibility and privacy requirements with customizable controls.
For instance, it could automate audits for DeFi protocols or enterprises, ensuring data is not altered retroactively. Reeve could also attract institutional users frustrated with legacy systems.
Moreover, internal teams and external stakeholders can customize their experience, enabling informed decisions and enhanced financial data analysis.
Essentially, Reeve provides immutable records, enhanced financial oversight, and scalable solutions.
Reeve is part of ADA push into enterprise tools. Recent developments like the Chang hard fork for governance and Plutus V3 for smart contracts have boosted the blockchain.
Dan Gambardello Advocates for Cardano and Chainlink Integration
Amid the Reeve debut, Crypto Venture Capital founder Dan Gambardello is advocating for a possible Cardano integration with Chainlink (LINK).
Gambardello highlighted Chainlink as the “COIN” of the current market cycle. He noted that Cardano needs to integrate more aggressively with projects like Chainlink to remain on top.

The founder pointed out that the current market cap of Chainlink is half the size of ADA. This means that LINK is climbing at a fast pace to rival ADA in market cap.
USDT and USDC also have robust market capitalization, currently at $168 billion and $71.6 billion, respectively.
Gambardello added that a possible integration with the USDT and USDC stablecoins would make Cardano stay relevant in the market.
He warns that endless talk without action risks user fatigue and isolation as the entire crypto space experiences a boom.
Charles Hoskinson is Pitching Cardano to Win
“CARDANO WILL WIN, MY ENTIRE LEGACY DEPENDS ON IT,” says Hoskinson in a recent interview.
This comment is rooted in reality. Hoskinson says his life, brand, and reputation are tied to the success of ADA. As a result, the Cardano founder has no incentive to see the blockchain fail.
Hoskinson stressed that Cardano must win against competitors like Ethereum (ETH). Hoskinson co-founded Ethereum with Vitalik Buterin, but left in 2014 over disagreements on funding and direction.

The Cardano founder also admitted to past IOG disconnects with developers. However, he highlighted fixes through the introduction of the Midnight Network and the Lace wallet.
Lace allows users to send, receive, and stake ADA while managing other digital assets on the network.
On the other hand, Midnight Network is a privacy-focused sidechain. It uses zero-knowledge proofs, unlocking trillions of dollars in regulated assets.
Hoskinson says Midnight will be the “largest, most prominent, most traded, and highest volume Cardano native token in circulation.”
The Midnight Network recently launched Glacier Drop, which Hoskinson hailed as the biggest airdrop of the year. ADA holders were allocated 50% of NIGHT tokens via the airdrop.
Currently, ADA prices are trading at $0.82, with a market cap of $29.3 billion, per CoinMarketCap data. Ethereum is still way ahead of ADA, with its market cap pegged at over $531 billion.
