The U.S spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have recorded another day of inflows, demonstrating bullishness among institutional investors.
On September 11, 2025, the Ethereum (ETH) ETFs saw inflows reaching $113 million. However, the ETH ETFs come behind their Bitcoin (BTC) counterparts, whose inflows reached $553 million.
Ethereum ETFs vs Bitcoin ETFs
According to Farside Investors, the spot Ethereum ETFs collectively saw $113.1 million in net inflows. This indicates positive activity, meaning investors bought more ETF shares than sold.
Notably, the $113.1 million marks the third consecutive day of inflows into the spot ETH ETFs. On September 9 and 10, the ETFs recorded inflows of $44.2 million and $171.5 million, respectively.
This is a healthy rebound as Ethereum ETF had experienced outflows in the previous weeks. Ethereum ETFs now hold about $27.4 billion in assets under management, representing approximately 5.3% of ETH’s total supply.
Meanwhile, Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) led with a $88.3 million inflow on September 11. In contrast, BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), the largest ETH ETF, saw outflows of $17.4 million.
Large players like BlackRock influence prices through their moves. Although the $17.4 million ETH sale contributed to minor volatility, it did not derail the inflow trend.
For comparison, the Ethereum ETFs came behind spot Bitcoin ETFs, which saw $553 million in inflows on the same day. It shows that BTC still dominates institutional interests, but ETH is catching up.

Both BlackRock and Fidelity Investments remained the top performers in the spot Bitcoin market. While BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) recorded inflows of $366.2 million, Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) followed with $134.7 million.
How ETH and BTC Reacted to Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs inflows
Inflows like the recent one often correlate with ETH price gains. The ETH price has increased 2.4% over the previous day to around $4,533.
The price of ETH surged to as high as $4,557.3 before dropping to the current level.
In a similar move, the price of Bitcoin has increased slightly by 0.6% within the same timeframe. The BTC price rallied past $115,000 in today’s morning trading session, before dropping to $114,857.
However, investors are still interested in accumulating the leading coin as indicated by the slight uptick in trading volume. This metric has increased by 4.3% to $53.4 million.
The latest price uptick also reflects broader trends like corporate treasury adoption and anticipation of Fed rate cuts. This could funnel more capital into risk assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
A key point to note is that the Altcoin Index has climbed to 78, signaling the arrival of an altcoin season. This could cause the price of ETH to continue on its upward momentum.
Market analyst Ran Neuner said the next six weeks could get wild, especially after the bullish August CPI data.
Can Ethereum Price Hit $15K?
Market participants are optimistic that ETH will hit new highs in the current market cycle. For instance, Fundstrat analyst Tom Lee recently predicted that the Ethereum price could rally to $15,000 by the end of 2025.
This prediction is based on the recent Ethereum ETF inflows and accumulation among institutional players. Lee dramatically expanded Bitmine’s ETH holdings in just three months after joining the firm as chairman in June.
According to Strategic ETH Reserve data, Bitmine Technologies currently holds approximately 2.126 million ETH, worth nearly $9.5 billion.
However, investor attention has also shifted to the Ethereum DeFi leadership and Layer-2 scaling progress. Nevertheless, upbeat social sentiment and bullish analyst forecasts keep market optimism intact.
