Sui Network (SUI) continued to expand its application with the launch of a native USD stablecoin on its blockchain. This was a direct key to increased liquidity on the chain, as stablecoins give exposure to new crypto users.
The issuance will not only be impactful on the price action but also on the general ecosystem of SUI crypto which responded. The price action of SUI was stabilizing above the $2 zone with near-term targets at the $2.50 level.
SUI Launches Native Stablecoin
SUI blockchain is launching its own stablecoin by the name of USDsui, which would be issued by Bridge. USD secures the stablecoin at a 1:1 ratio in regulated depositories, known as the SUI-USD.
The Sui Foundation issues it and operates on-chain. It has no intermediaries and allows instant transfers at low costs under $0.001 per transaction. However, it supports DeFi primitives: lending on Navi Protocol, perpetual trading on DeepBook, and yield farming with an APY of 5-15%.
The stablecoin was built on Move-based parallel execution in SUI. The stablecoin was designed to allow instant transfers with low costs of less than $0.001 per transaction.

The network is secured by over 500 million SUI staked, providing stability. In contrast to bridged assets, the network was minted by default and redeemed using on-ramp partners, eliminating counterparty risk.
The total supply stood at $150 million and weekly transparent audits were availed on-chain. This made SUI a high-throughput layer-1 of real-world finance.
How Did the SUI Ecosystem React?
The impact was potentially extended into on-chain activity, particularly the stablecoin section of the SUI crypto ecosystem. The transfer volume of stablecoin rose by more than 61% in the past seven days, as per data from Artemis.
Since the start of November, total stablecoin volume has been ranging above the $8 billion mark, which was the lowest point. The peak volume was slightly above $12 billion when writing.

Similarly, the total number of accounts reached new heights, surpassing 230 million. The increase in network activity was evident in the rising accounts in the SUI ecosystem. They could have been created for moving USDsui stablecoin across the ecosystem.
Also SUI appeared among the most bridged tokens in the past 24 hours alongside the Arbitrum, Sei Network, Base, and Solana blockchains. Despite the reaction, the volume bridged was not convincing. However, it could be understood that these were the early periods.
SUI Price Analysis: Is a Bounce Ready?
The price action chart felt a similar impact as it stabilised above the $2 zone, just above the $1.90 demand zone. Bulls were accumulating SUI crypto in an ascending triangle, though the price action broke below.
Analysts on CT were targeting a price higher than the $2.40 zone, with $2.50 lying as the next target. SUI price action was steady above $2, with AltCryptoGems predicting it as a higher low. The analyst wrote, “This is exactly the place where we should expect a higher low and a consequent bounce.”

This data showed that SUI crypto was readying for a bounce back to a bullish structure. The lowest of this structure was at $1.80, which matched the peak of the head-and-shoulder pattern in the lower timeframes.
Altogether, SUI was becoming a dominant force through the launch of USDsui, which has heightened network activity. SUI’s price action was also stabilizing above $2 after this launch news.
