Solana Flashes Bullish Divergence as Revenue Flippening Threatens ETH

Attention to Solana price is increasing as emerging revenue statistics show that it could take over the blockchain leadership position once held by Ethereum. Comparisons of annual revenues have positioned Solana ahead of Ethereum, and the technical indicators show not only a short-term risk factor but also a sign of stabilization. Analysts suggest that Solana price may test lower support levels before attempting a recovery, which may rely on confirmation over time.

Solana Revenue Growth Challenges Ethereum Dominance

Analyst CryptosRus noted that long-term revenue data points to a significant structural shift in the layer-1 environment. The annual revenue of Solana increased from $28 million in 2021 to nearly $2.5 billion in 2025 year-to-date.

During the same period, Ethereum revenue dipped to almost $1.4 billion from peaks of over $5 billion. This is a divergence signifying a change in where the real economic activity is being produced on-chain.

The analyst credited the growth of Solana to its ability to allow high-volume run without much friction.  Cheap transaction costs and rapid settlement have made Solana a platform of choice in consumer-facing applications, such as meme-coin trading and high-frequency DeFi use.

Although Ethereum is entrenched and highly institutionalized in terms of infrastructure, it is experiencing a downward trend in revenue, indicating increased competition. The revenue flip suggests that the usage trends can be shifting towards performance-based networks.

Notably, the reduction in revenues of Ethereum is not an indication that the network is weak but reflects a shift in the behavior of its users. Another issue that has affected deployment decisions is high charges during times of congestion.

Provided Solana would remain a revenue leader during several market cycles, the change may be a longer-term reallocation of economic activity. For Solana price, long-term valuation is supported by long-term growth in revenues.

Breakdown Retest Keeps Solana Price Under Pressure

Meanwhile, analyst Ali Charts indicated short-term weakness in the 4-hour chart. Solana price recently fell below a rising channel, which in the past has guided consolidation. The continuous rejection of the $140-$144 resistance zone undermined the positive movement.

More so, the decline below $133 shifted the short-term control to sellers and affirmed a bearish structure.

Further, Solana price stabilized near the $124-$125 zone after the breakdown. This move can be characterized as a retest of past support that has now become resistance. The recovery remains shallow without volume growth. Such a trend can suggest a continuation rather than a reversal of the trend. Downside risk remains high if Solana price fails to recover from the breakdown zone.

Ali outlined $115 as an intermediate support level if selling pressure resumes. Below that, the $106–$107 zone is the next significant downside target. This zone aligns with earlier consolidation and untested demand. Failure to reclaim the $133 level would expose Solana price to these lower levels.

Bullish Divergence Signals Potential Shift

On the other hand, Captain Faibik highlighted a significant pattern on higher timeframes. Solana price has been trading below a declining trendline that has restricted rallies ever since October. This trendline, which is now almost at $138, constitutes the larger corrective framework.

Momentum indicators are creating higher lows despite the lower lows in prices. This optimistic divergence suggests that the selling pressure is dissipating around the demand zone of $120-$125. According to the analyst, such divergences often precede transitions in trends, although confirmation is vital. Reclaiming above $138 would indicate a new bullish trend and enhancement of the Solana price structure.

Overall, the statistics give a mixed yet changing perspective. Solana price is experiencing short-term technical pressure, and the revenue metrics are reinforcing Solana’s positioning in the long run. Bullish divergence and revenue leadership convergence imply the enhancement of the underlying conditions. Solana is trading at approximately $125 at the time of writing, with key levels that could determine the next directional movement.
