Weekly data shows the products had posted $286.60 million in inflows during the week ending December 12. The reversal from positive to negative flows created a $1.07 billion swing in investor sentiment over just two weeks.

Cumulative inflows have decreased from $57.90 billion on December 12 to $56.62 billion on December 26. The $1.28 billion reduction over two weeks represents 2.2% of total cumulative flows.

Daily Outflow Pattern Shows Sustained Selling Pressure

The back-to-back losses of $363.93 million over the Christmas holiday period accounted for 46.5% of the week’s total outflows.

December 26 closed the week with $275.88 million in outflows, the largest single-day loss of the period. The final trading day pushed total weekly redemptions past $780 million.
