Solana Price Prediction: $120 Support Key as DEX Volume Leads

Solana price entered 2026 with traders watching whether SOL can defend the $120 area on higher timeframes. Recent crypto news noted that the Solana network ranked first for DEX volume and app revenue.

Analysts also monitored exchange-traded products that track SOL, alongside derivatives activity that picked up in early January.

Solana Leads DEX Volume and App Revenue

A dashboard shared by SolanaNews listed Solana at $2.677 billion in DEX volume, topping the displayed chain rankings. The table listed BSC at $1.553 billion and Ethereum at $816.62 million.

It also showed Off Chain at $450.28 million and Base at $350.79 million. The data referenced 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day windows, placing Solana at the top across those timeframes.

SOL ETF Flow Table Shows Weekly Net Additions

CoinShares’ December 29, 2025, update showed digital asset funds had US$446 million in weekly outflows. Analysts noted this trend could weigh on the Solana price.

Within that total, Solana recorded weekly inflows of US$7.5 million. This placed it among the top inflow leaders for the week alongside XRP.

CoinShares reported strong inflows into Solana ETFs. Since mid-October, U.S. ETF launches have gained US$1.34 billion. Bitcoin products saw net outflows of US$2.8 billion.

Ethereum products recorded net outflows of US$1.6 billion. The data highlighted Solana’s growing demand compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

CoinShares ETF flow data arrived as Solana price traded near the $120 support zone tracked on higher-timeframe charts. This kept attention on whether that level holds during early 2026 trading.

The CoinShares flow data came alongside an ETFs net inflow table shared by Lookonchain. Solana holdings stood at 7,820,223 SOL. The data showed a 1‑day net inflow of 6,401 SOL and a 7‑day net inflow of 117,433 SOL.

The seven‑day breakdown showed Fidelity (FSOL) with +66,367 SOL. Bitwise (BSOL) added +19,488 SOL, VanEck (VSOL) gained +19,601 SOL, and Grayscale (GSOL) recorded +12,077 SOL.

Coinglass data showed Solana derivatives volume at about $11.63 billion. Open interest stood near $7.89 billion, rising 6.8%.

Solana Price Prediction: $120 Support, $130 Resistance, Then $150

Ali Charts shared a 3‑day SOL chart highlighting $120 as key support. The rising trendline met the Solana price near the low‑$120s.

The chart highlighted a reference area near $180 above. It also sketched a deeper downside path toward $50 if the $120 Solana price support failed.

For a Solana price prediction into January 2026, the near-term setup centres on $120 and $130. A sustained hold above $120 will trigger a retest of $130. Market analysis cited $150 as the next target for the Solana price.

Solana traded at $123, down 2.96% over the past 24 hours, holding just above the $120 key support level. Market cap stood near $69.76 billion, while 24-hour trading volume came in around $3.36 billion.
