Introducing The Top 6 Hamster Kombat Alternatives In 2024
  • Telegram has become a hub for “tap-to-earn” and “play-to-earn” games, attracting millions of users.
  • Hamster Kombat is a popular example, but there are several other alternatives.
  • Some of the best ones include Catizen, The Pixels, ARBUZ Clicker, Blum, Capybara and Tap Fantasy.

You likely live under a rock if you are an active crypto community member and haven’t heard of the ongoing telegram game craze. These games have drawn in over 1 billion users with their low barrier to entry, zero initial investment, and accessibility to newcomers.

The community has been excited about this new game niche, one of the most popular being Hamster Kombat. Hamster Kombat, in particular, has taken the world by storm in light of its incoming airdrop that fans eagerly await.

However, if you have heard of Hamster Kombat, have you heard of these other names?

Hamster Kombat is just one out of many “tap-to-earn” and “play-to-earn” games in the space. So, if you’re looking for alternatives, here’s where to start.

  1. Catizen

Catizen is a huge cat-themed game, as well as GameFi, Metaverse, and an AI mini-app on Telegram. The project’s beta phase ended in March of this year and has attracted over 10 million users since its launch.

1.6 million of these players tap into the game daily. They transact on the TON network an average of 8.9 million times a day.

The gameplay with Catizen involves players breeding cats for level-ups and coins. Those coins can be used to form a higher-level cat and then start the process over again.

So far, Catizen’s in-game earnings are more than $10 million. This makes it the largest mini-app community on Telegram and the fastest-growing app within the TON ecosystem.

  1. The Pixels

Pixels is another big game on the TON blockchain and can be played through Telegram. The game allows its players to compete for space on a digital canvas with millions of pixels.

Players within the game can form squads, choose a part of the canvas, and paint it together. Each player can color one pixel every seven seconds.

This creates a dynamic in which several squads compete for canvas control and the game’s virtual crypto, $PXL. Players earn this cryptocurrency by coloring as many pixels as possible, by referrals, and by creating pixel art.

  1. ARBUZ Clicker

ARBUZ Clicker is another major Telegram game that combines traditional gaming with blockchain technology. The gameplay involves users earning watermelons by tapping on the screen, completing tasks, and performing other in-game activities.

The $ARBUZ tokens earned within the game can also be staked, traded, or used on the platform for other upgrades and advantages.

  1. Blum

Blum has its own Telegram mini-app game, which is like the others and is a hybrid cryptocurrency exchange. Users earn Blum points by completing interactive tasks, trading, cultivating, and growing Blum Points.

The project is also community-intensive, allowing users to interact, hit milestones, and refer friends for more rewards. Blum points are collected by the gamers and used to farm rewards during the community airdrop.

  1. Capybara

Capybara was deployed on the SUI blockchain instead of Telegram’s TON, but it is still playable within the app.

Players farm coins by interacting with a virtual Capybara within the game. They can join five leagues based on the number of points they gather.

Players then move up in the league and rank the further into the game they progress, earning bonuses along the way. They can also form teams and feed the Capybara in exchange for rewards, competing against each other on the leaderboard.

  1.  Tap Fantasy

Tap Fantasy is another newer and free-to-play RPG game set in a fantasy world called Odom. Players within the game can battle monsters, engage in PvP combat, and earn crypto and NFT rewards.

Players can also customize their adventurers, navigate Odom, and recruit heroes from different classes. During battles and general gameplay, Tap Fantasy provides a more immersive experience with screen tapping than most tap-to-earn games.
