As Donald Trump’s inauguration as President of the United States approaches in 2025, this optimism is only intensifying.

How Trump Spurs Optimism

Trump’s involvement in the crypto space has always sparked excitement, especially in the last two years. Whether his speech or a contribution to the crypto space, every aspect of his action is seen by the community on the optimistic side.

Similarly, as seen before, From the November 2024 rally to his recent announcement of the official TRUMP meme coin on X, Trump’s ability to influence market sentiment is undeniable.

Investors quickly shifted focus from other Trump-inspired coins like MAGA and STRUMP, flocking to the official token. This wave of attention has driven widespread adoption of the TRUMP coin, proving just how much the crypto community responds to Trump’s branding.

But it’s not just the meme coins that are catching attention. The crypto market as a whole is riding a wave of optimism, bolstered by the hope of pro-crypto policies under Trump’s leadership.

As the market anticipates the new administration, expectations are high that the crypto sector could see major advancements in the US.

Bitcoin & Ethereum ETFs: Shifting Dynamics Ahead of Trump’s Inauguration

The buzz around Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs is intensifying as pre-inauguration optimism drives market activity. Bitcoin ETFs recorded inflows on three out of five trading days, gaining momentum toward the week’s end.

Meanwhile, Ethereum ETFs outpaced Bitcoin in consistency, logging inflows on four of five days, signaling a shift in investor sentiment.

For much of 2024, Ethereum ETFs struggled to gain traction, often overshadowed by the dominant interest in Bitcoin products. Investors largely viewed Ethereum ETFs as secondary.

However, just days before Donald Trump’s anticipated inauguration, Ethereum ETFs have begun to challenge this narrative, showing steady momentum and more consistent inflows than Bitcoin ETFs.

Bitcoin’s mid-week price recovery may have played a pivotal role in boosting overall ETF activity. After dipping below $90,000 early in the week, Bitcoin price rebounded sharply, closing above the $100K mark.

Ethereum followed suit, and even these price rallies appear reflected in ETF inflow trends. This indicates growing investor confidence, aligning with the broader optimism surrounding the incoming administration.

Even when writing, the Bitcoin price has attained a new ATH and marked a pivotal moment by reaching $109K. However, Ethereum’s price still hasn’t picked up the momentum yet, but many expect sooner than later, it will pick up momentum.
