Key Insights
- Polygon price has traded within a $0.43-$0.53 range since mid-December. This reflected consistent resistance and support levels.
- Stochastic RSI showed frequent overbought and oversold conditions, signaling high short-term volatility in POL price action.
- Bull Bear Power oscillated near zero. It indicated no clear dominance by bulls or bears in the POL month-long price consolidation phase.
Since mid-December, Polygon (POL) price has been range-bound between $0.43 and $0.53. This pattern suggests that the market is in the consolidation zone. There, the Polygon price moved between specific support and resistance levels.

According to crypto analyst Ali Martinez, this level has remained relatively stable. This aligned with the relatively flat and unremarkable movements in POL price. Every time the price gets close to $0.43, buyers come in to buy and start driving the price higher.
Similarly, sellers have met every attempt to break the resistance zone at around $0.53. This forced the POL crypto price back into the range.
Stochastic RSI Reflects High Short-Term Volatility
The Stochastic RSI has also flipped between the overbought and oversold territory multiple times on the technical indicators. This supports the view that the Polygon price has been volatile lately.
These rapid oscillations implied that traders were trading. They focused on short-term movements in the market and not long-term trends.

The indicator’s behavior highlighted that the POL price changes may happen within the given range at any time. As the Stochastic RSI rises into the overbought zone around 80, it creates selling pressure and price drops.
Conversely, the readings in the oversold area around 20 appear when there is a rise in buying pressure. Additionally, the price goes back up.
Bull Bear Power Signals Market Equilibrium
The Bull Bear Power (BBP) indicator has remained close to the zero line during this consolidation phase. This failure to establish a trend in either direction indicated that bulls and bears have not been able to take charge of the market.
Instead, the market has leveled off without price swings outside the $0.43 and $0.53 range. The positive BBP spikes represented short-term bullish dynamics.
At the same time, the negative BBP dips depicted bearish pressure. These conflicting factors have kept the Polygon price solidly near the middle of the channel. There was no apparent break above or below it.
Outlook for a Breakout Above $0.50
Therefore, the Polygon price may break through the $0.53 level. This would indicate that the POL has finished trading in the range if this happens.
However, for such a breakout to happen, there would have to be an increase in trading volume and a change in the market sentiment. Without these catalysts, the POL price may continue to trade within the existing levels.
A recent analysis showed that the Polygon price might break above the $0.47 resistance level to support a bullish outlook. Once it breaks, It could target $0.64, guided by Fibonacci retracement levels.
However, the MACD indicated bearish momentum. At the same time, the Stochastic RSI showed early bullish signs but remained below 50. Also, failure to break $0.53 may lead to further consolidation or bearish movement.
