Key Highlights:
- Bitcoin regained key support but must reclaim a critical level to confirm bullish momentum.
- Analysts highlight reduced selling pressure, signaling the potential for a short-term market rebound.
- Institutional accumulation grows as transfer volume declines, indicating a shift toward holding.
Bitcoin (BTC) price experienced substantial volatility from mid-January to late March. These price fluctuations were key in influencing market sentiment during this period.
Initially, Bitcoin surged past $100,000 before facing a sharp decline, dropping to lows near $75,000. However, the price rebounded, stabilizing between $85,000 and $90,000.
The recent performance metrics of the token indicate a short-term recovery. It has gained 1.5% in the last 24 hours, 5.7% over the past week, and 7.3% in the previous 14 days. These figures highlight renewed investor confidence and market activity.
Despite this, a 30-day decline of 8.1% suggests ongoing market corrections. On a broader scale, BTC price has recorded a 25.1% increase over the past year.
BTC Price Above 200DMA but Key Resistance at $93K
Glassnode has emphasized Bitcoin’s positioning concerning key technical indicators. The 200-day moving average (200DMA), around $85,000, is identified as a crucial support level. This highlighted its importance in maintaining Bitcoin’s current price stability.
The price regained this level recently, fueling short-term bullish sentiment. However, Glassnode noted that Bitcoin must flip $93,000 into support to confirm a sustained uptrend.

Key technical levels include the 111-day moving average (111DMA) at $95,200. The 365-day moving average (365DMA) is also positioned at $75,500.
Going forward, the 200-week moving average (200WMA), a long-term indicator, stood at $45,100. BTC price had remained trapped between the 200DMA and the 111DMA. A clear breakout was not observed until it surpassed and retested the $93,000 level.
From an on-chain perspective, the short-term holder’s (STH) realized price is $93,500. Until this level is reclaimed, Bitcoin remains vulnerable, with elevated risks for short-term holders.
Current data revealed that the STH Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio was -0.06. This indicated that short-term holders had an average unrealized loss of 6%.
BTC Price Potential Breakout Toward $95K
Amid the ongoing recovery, analysts indicated that Bitcoin had the potential for a significant rally. This was contingent on external market factors remaining stable and not disrupting the current momentum.
CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. has pointed to a notable reduction in selling pressure, indicating a shift in market sentiment.

The Bitcoin Cumulative Net Taker Volume has shown a positive shift recently. This on-chain metric tracks the balance between taker buys and sells. Its latest signals indicate increasing buying interest in the market.
As selling pressure has weakened recently, BTC price action could benefit from reduced market resistance. BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes added that Bitcoin is due to spike above $110,000 before testing important support at $76,500.

Hayes linked the bullish outlook to a change in the Federal Reserve’s policy. The shift from quantitative tightening (QT) to quantitative easing (QE) for U.S. Treasuries was identified as a key driver of optimism.
Institutional Activity and Network Trends
However, institutional accumulation still has an impact on BTC’s trajectory. Japan’s MetaPlanet, which is sometimes likened to MicroStrategy, has since increased its Bitcoin stake.

The firm added $12.6 Million in coins, increasing its overall holdings to 3,350 BTC, approximately $291.3 Million. Institutional demand remains a key driver, supporting broader market sentiment and influencing the BTC price.
The network activity is changing dramatically. According to analyst Ali Martinez, Bitcoin’s total transfer volume plummeted last month.
The $87 Billion worth of volume has collapsed by almost $42 Billion. This implies that more market participants are holding on to Bitcoin rather than engaging in active transactions.
