According to Farside Investors, on May 27, 2025, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs had net inflows totaling $38.8 million. A seventh straight day of positive net flows into Ethereum-based ETF products has been registered. BlackRock’s ETHA ETF added $32.5 million, Fidelity’s FETH attracted $3.4 million and VanEck’s ETHV collected $2.9 million of the new contributions.
However, other Ethereum ETFs, including ETHW, CETH, QETH, EZET, ETHE, and ETH, all remained quiet last week. This capital allocation comes amid fluctuations in financial markets, where tech-heavy equity indices such as the Nasdaq have experienced mixed results.
Ethereum ETFs Experience Inflows Led by BlackRock, Fidelity, and VanEck
According to Farside Investors, the majority of the $38.8 million net inflow on May 27 was directed into a small group of Ethereum ETF products. BlackRock’s ETHA ETF accounted for over 83% of the total with $32.5 million in inflows. Fidelity’s FETH fund followed with $3.4 million, and VanEck’s ETHV secured $2.9 million.

Investments in this direction reveal that institutions prefer ETFs managed by known firms with increased trading volume.
Ethereum Price Trend In the Wake of Ethereum ETFs Activity
TradingView showed on May 28 that Ethereum’s daily relative strength index (RSI) was 57, suggesting the market was mostly neutral or leaning bullish.
At this time, the bullish MACD crossover occurred on the 4-hour timeframe with the signal line crossing above the MACD line. Even though these signs suggest ETH prices might go up soon, they do not necessarily show that a rally has just begun

On-chain activity supported the increase in interest. According to Glassnode, daily active addresses for Ethereum increased by 8% in one week to reach 450,000 on May 27. On that day, centralized exchanges reported a 10% rise in trading volume for Ethereum, with a total of $12.5 billion.
Ethereum Options Market Reflects Diverging Sentiments
Data from Amberdata also shows Ethereum options are back at where they were in December 2024, suggesting continued trades despite the market being calm. According to the options market, the odds of Ethereum surpassing $5,000 by December 2025 are just 12%.
Retail traders predict ETH will reach $3,000 this month, while institutions believe the ETH price could hit $3,500 by June.
The way options are currently priced depends on the approaches investors use. Many retail traders take quick actions, whereas institutions mainly strive for positions that last at least a few weeks or months.
Moreover, the total value of open interest in Ethereum derivatives has hit roughly $35 billion, rising 8.8% from the previous week. According to CoinGlass, a positive funding rate shows that futures traders are mostly opening long positions.

As option volumes rise and capital continues to flow into ETFs, derivatives markets are likely to determine Ethereum price prediction.
Ethereum Price Prediction
Meanwhile, according to well-known analyst Crypto Caesar, Ethereum showed a bullish pattern when it surpassed a long downward trend. According to the analyst, the price increase started after Ethereum showed a market structure shift (MsS) and moved above $2,000.
Following the breakout, the Ethereum price quickly rose above several levels of resistance for ETH. Caesar pointed out that an order block formed above $2,485.52, making it important support at the moment. Recently, this area has attracted attention, reaffirming its role in supporting pullbacks in the market.

Additionally, the chart analysis indicates the potential for Ethereum to target higher resistance zones between $3,000 and $3,400. ETH price is currently trading near $2,643, and the structure shows a possible bullish continuation pattern with higher lows being formed.
Analysts illustrated that if Ethereum price maintains support above $2,485, further upside toward the next supply zone is likely. Key levels, such as $2,882 and the former lower high near $3,200, may act as the next checkpoints.
