Dogecoin (DOGE) price rallied 72% over the past three weeks, topping at $0.2872 before retracing to $0.2243. It then formed a triple-bottom structure, suggesting a reinforced support zone.
At the time of writing, the 4-hour Market periodical market analysis showed that DOGE consolidated at $0.2367 after a 7% bounce on Friday. The price is currently in a tight range with equal odds of a breakout or breakdown.

According to CoinGlass, the open interest in the crypto market has risen 2.18% to $206.09 billion. The Fear & Greed Index now reads 74, indicating market sentiment remains firmly in “greed” territory.
Bitcoin dominance has slipped slightly to 60.41%, while gold futures dropped 0.92% to $3,337.18. These broader shifts provide tailwinds as DOGE consolidates at current levels.
Dogecoin Technical Indicators and Seasonal Patterns Point to More Upside
According to Trader Tardigrade, a bullish crossover on the 4-hour Dogecoin price chart suggests the start of a new uptrend. He also noted a green monthly Heikin Ashi candle, the first since a pullback.

This pattern, visible on the monthly chart, has historically preceded multi-month rallies. The current setup mirrors previous breakouts to new recent highs.

DOGE also broke above short-term resistance levels near $0.270 in the final trading hour. It tested $0.272 before slightly retracing into the session close.
Long-term charts suggest a consolidation between $0.16–$0.25 before a potential move toward $0.85–$1. Tardigrade outlined this range as the next likely target if momentum holds.
On-Chain Flows and Derivatives Data Point to Bullish Sentiment
CoinGlass data shows open interest in DOGE has surged from $1.38 billion in March to $4.03 billion in July. That’s a nearly 4x increase, indicating a buildup of leveraged positions.
This rise in open interest reflects strong institutional conviction behind the recent price move. Most of the increase has occurred without aggressive liquidations.

However, spot netflows have remained negative through most of July. On July 23 alone, outflows hit -$93.3 million, the largest of the month.

Despite that, DOGE recorded rare inflows close to $80 million in July. These reversals highlight zones that may be important for tracking potential accumulation activity.
Meme coins overall have seen renewed attention, with DOGE once again leading the category. Volume and wallet data suggest it remains the most institutionally held meme asset.
Dogecoin Market Cap Rebound and Global News Strengthen the Setup
Dogecoin’s market cap dropped from a December high of $68.75 billion to $21.95 billion in April 2025. That’s a loss of roughly 68.07% in just four months.
By the end of July, the market cap has rebounded to $35.58 billion, nearly doubling from April lows. This sharp recovery supports renewed market optimism.

Meanwhile, China and the U.S. are expected to extend their tariff truce by another three months. Talks will begin Monday in Stockholm to maintain the May agreement, which expires August 12.
The news lifted Bitcoin by 0.88% in the last 24 hours. The broader crypto market also rallied, with BNB gaining 5.52%, the highest among the top ten coins.
The most important macro events this week to monitor are U.S. jobs data, GDP figures, and the upcoming Fed interest rate decision. Good economic numbers could mean an upside in the dollar and a downward pressure in crypto, while any slowdown or a dovish stance of the Fed could promote risk assets such as Dogecoin.
