Sui price has been drawing strong attention in recent weeks, as the technical patterns and ETF speculation have sparked renewed optimism. The top altcoin price rebounded from key support and is now trading in the mid-$3.25 level, with analysts eyeing bigger levels in the future. Meanwhile, there are net inflows and upcoming token unlocks, which further add significance to its trajectory.
Sui Price Holds Key Support Levels
Sui price has been consolidating after a sharp rebound from the $3.15 support zone. Analysts noted that this level is crucial for the token’s short-term movement. If the price holds above this support level, there is potential for strength and a breakout.

According to CryptoPulse, Sui price recently tested the lower end of its Fib channel. The analyst stated that support at $3.15 could confirm a bullish setup, potentially leading to a rise to $5.59 in the coming weeks. However, failure to maintain this zone, though, risks renewed downside pressure.
Analysts See Breakout Towards $7
Furthermore, technical analyst Ali has spotted a long-term symmetrical triangle forming on the daily chart. He suggested the current setup might be the “prime zone” before a breakout to $7. His chart had been a gradual accumulation with resistance breakouts around $4.10 and $5.30 before reaching the eventual target.

Ali added that a breakout above the triangle would represent a major trend shift for Sui price. Such a move could lead to a resurgence in demand from investors, particularly given the growing interest in ETFs. The $7 target is currently dependent on sustained buying momentum being above the $3.20-$3.30 range.
Listing ETF Improves Market Sentiments
ETF developments in the United States are also acting as a catalyst for Sui optimism. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has recently listed the 21Shares SUI ETF (TSUI) and a Polkadot ETF. While not a regulatory approval, such listings are usually an indication of preparations in case there is an opportunity for SEC clearance.
Bloomberg ETF analysts place odds of approval at around 60% for Sui. The SEC has requested that issuers withdraw 19b-4 filings that may be required under new listing standards, aiming to simplify the process. This shift in structure has been described as a catalyst for faster approvals. Traders reacted positively, sending Sui up 4% from $3.16 to $3.31 intraday before stabilising.
Institutional Inflows and Token Unlocks
Beyond ETFs, there was also evidence of increasing institutional interest, as reflected in on-chain data. Notably, September saw $233.7 million in net inflows into Sui, the highest since January 2025. According to DefiLlama, this represented a growth of 610% since August, highlighting increased accumulation. The inflows are often indicative of institutional positioning.

At the same time, token unlocks do come with opportunities and risks. CryptoRank data showed that $180.4 million worth of SUI tokens will unlock on October 1, representing 0.57% of its market cap. Large unlock events could result in selling pressure, but they also create liquidity for institutional buyers.

If demand from investors absorbs the unlocked tokens, the event could lead to a stronger bullish movement. Along with the ETF story and high inflows, this unlock can prove to be a pivotal point in Sui’s Q4 price action.
