BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) saw strong demand. It recorded net inflows of 6,447 BTC. That’s worth around $791.42 Million. The data comes from Farside Investors.

The fund’s trading activity also surged, with a total volume of $4.2 Billion. This marked the third-highest daily volume since its launch. As a result, BlackRock’s IBIT, with its net assets under management (AUM), reached $95 billion, holding 783,000 BTC.

This makes IBIT one of the fastest-growing ETFs currently in the market. As a result, the IBIT share price has experienced a significant surge. Additionally, it is currently trading near its all-time highs, above $69.

In addition to BlackRock, Fidelity FBTC also saw rising inflows this week, taking its total inflows to $12.625 Billion. JPMorgan sees strong momentum in Bitcoin. The bank predicts it could reach $165,000 by the end of 2025.

Bitcoin is currently undervalued compared to gold. Strong ETF inflows are adding momentum. This is fueling institutional demand.

$3.0 Billion Bitcoin ETF Inflows Trigger Crypto ETF Filings

Inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs have gathered pace despite the announcement of the US government shutdown this week. This week, the new inflows across all US ETF issuers have crossed a staggering $3 billion.

Matt Mena of 21Shares predicts a rate cut is forthcoming. He believes it could spark another “Uptober” rally for Bitcoin. He noted that BTC stands to benefit both as a “digital gold” hedge amid fiscal uncertainty. Thus, it works as a high-beta risk asset when market liquidity improves.

Mena also pointed to strong ETF inflows as further support for Bitcoin’s upside. He suggested that the asset could retest $124,000. It may further potentially rise to between $140,000 and $150,000 before the end of 2025. He added that such momentum could also lift the broader crypto market.

BTC price has already extended its weekly gains to more than 11.8%. It is currently trading past $122,000, eyeing a major breakout to all-time highs. Analysts view this as the beginning of a potential mega rally in Q4, with the end of December expected to mark its culmination.

Ethereum ETF Inflows Cross $1.2 Billion This Week

Along with Bitcoin ETFs, inflows into spot Ethereum ETFs have also surged past $1.2 Billion this week. On Friday, October 3, the Ethereum ETF inflows stood at $233 Billion. BlackRock’s ETHA alone contributed to more than $206 Billion in net inflows.

The fund also registered $1.5 Billion in trading volume, reflecting renewed institutional interest in Ethereum as market sentiment improves. The overall sentiment surrounding crypto ETFs remains bullish as investors await approval for ETH, SOL, ADA, and other assets.

Rex-Osprey made a bold move on Friday. They submitted over 30 crypto-related ETF filings to the SEC. This signals rising institutional interest in digital assets.

Market observers believe this is only the beginning, with expectations that a wide range of crypto ETF products will follow. This includes digital assets from altcoins to DeFi and basket funds.

Analysts see a surge in crypto ETF filings. It points to faster mainstream adoption. Asset managers are now competing more aggressively.
