Zcash price is back in focus after a sharp move pushed ZEC near $550, placing the privacy coin close to its next major resistance band. Traders now watch whether buyers can turn the $540 area into support and drive price toward the upper channel near $675–$680. Also, open interest on Binance is rising with the price, pointing to increased activity in the futures market.
Zcash Price Rally Builds Above Key Levels
Zcash price is extending its strong recovery as buyers defend higher levels after a sharp move through key resistance zones. ZEC trades near $550, placing it above the $500 area and close to the next technical checkpoints highlighted across several charts.

Market analyst Ali Martinez said ZEC had rebounded from the midpoint of a broad ascending channel. His chart placed the channel’s upper boundary between $675 and $680.
The 30-minute chart identified $565 as the first level ZEC would need to reclaim. Below that level, the chart placed support around $550 and $540, with resistance near $610 and $640.
ZEC Crypto $620 Level Becomes the Next Test
At the same time, Ardi’s analysis pointed to $620 as the next important target. His chart showed ZEC breaking a descending trendline and reclaiming the $540 region. Trading volume during the retest would help determine whether buyers can establish that level as support.

The setup suggests buyers want a retest of the flipped resistance before another move higher. If ZEC price holds this new support, the next leg could target the $620 area, which lines up with the right shoulder zone from the previous head-and-shoulders structure.
A clean break above $620 would strengthen the case for a move toward Ali Charts’ $675–$680 channel target. Losing the $540 support, though, would weaken the setup and raise the risk of a pullback toward $510 or $500.
Short-Term Zcash Price Setup Stays Active
Meanwhile, market analyst Crypto Tony’s short-term chart showed ZEC still has room for another leg higher. His setup mapped a shallow retest near the $560 area or a deeper pullback closer to $550 before continuation.

Both scenarios keep the broader bullish structure intact as long as price avoids a deeper breakdown. ZEC has already built a series of higher reactions since the recent breakout, and the current consolidation looks more like digestion than exhaustion.
The 30-minute chart placed immediate support around $565, while resistance sits closer to $610 and $640. A move through those levels would keep buyers in control and open the path toward the higher daily targets.
ZEC Open Interest Confirms Rising Activity
Beyond spot price action, Binance ZEC open interest has also climbed sharply, showing that traders are increasing exposure during the rally. The Coinglass chart showed open interest rising alongside ZEC crypto move, with activity now near its highest levels of the recent advance.

That rise can support momentum when ZEC price trends higher, but it also adds volatility risk. Crowded positioning may amplify moves in both directions, especially near resistance levels such as $620 and $675.

ZEC’s latest rally brought the $620 resistance area back into focus, while Ali Martinez’s chart identified $675–$680 as the upper channel boundary. The immediate structure depends on whether ZEC holds above $540 and later clears $620. A break below $510 would expose the $500 area, while elevated open interest could amplify volatility in either direction.
