XRP price is showing early signs of a possible recovery setup after a weak first half of the year, with traders now watching whether buyers can push through the $1.12–$1.18 resistance zone.
The token still trades near $1.09, but fresh technical charts show rising RSI, falling leverage, accumulation signals, and a long-term bottoming structure that could shape XRP’s next major move.
XRP Price Holds Above Local Bottom
XRP price trades near $1.09 after defending the local bottom around $1.05. The token remains under pressure after falling 27.1% in the first quarter and another 22.4% in the second quarter.
However, XRP’s daily chart shows price moving within a descending broadening wedge. The pattern reflects increasingly wide swings, although sellers have yet to force a sustained move below recent lows. Such formations sometimes develop during the later stages of a market correction.

The RSI has also formed a bullish divergence while XRP price holds near the lower end of the structure. That means momentum is improving, even though the top altcoin still trades near support.
The immediate breakout zone sits between $1.12 and $1.18. A close above this area would give buyers stronger control and open the path toward $1.60. Failure to reclaim that zone could keep XRP locked inside the current range.
XRP Crypto Chart Shows Bottoming Pattern
Meanwhile, EGRAG Crypto’s monthly chart removes candlestick noise and tracks Ripple against the 44-week moving average and the Bull Market Support Band. His analysis showed that XRP has often formed major bottoms near this interaction zone.

The chart highlighted several historical structures, including a double bottom with a higher low, a triple bottom with a higher low, and a double bottom with a lower low. The current structure may now be developing another double-bottom phase.
XRP price could form a double bottom with a lower low around December 2026 or build a double bottom with a higher low around July 2027. A third scenario involves a longer triple-bottom structure until liquidity forms at a higher price.
The rising yellow trendline remains the main point of contact in his chart. As long as XRP crypto respects that trendline, the setup can still support a larger recovery phase. The chart also marks a potential “face melting phase” above the higher resistance band, although price must first reclaim nearer resistance levels.
XRP Price Accumulation Signals Start Improving
Notably, CW’s chart showed XRP price building a strong accumulation profile on the lower timeframe. The setup shows the price consolidating while the RSI rises, suggesting that buyers are becoming more active during sideways movement.

The same chart showed an accumulation score of 93 out of 100, marked as “extreme.” It also labels the state as active, while volatility stays compressed. That combination suggests XRP may be entering a phase where buyers accumulate supply before a larger move.
Still, the signal needs price confirmation. Accumulation readings can remain strong for several sessions while price stays trapped in a narrow range. XRP still has work to do before traders can call this a genuine trend reversal. Price must first push through the resistance sitting overhead, then remain above that level rather than slipping back into the current range.
Notably, the calendar offers some reason for optimism. XRP lost 22.1% in June 2026 but has gained about 4.19% so far in July. Past July performances have occasionally been far stronger. The token climbed 47.6% in July 2023 and added another 35% during the same month in 2025.
XRP Leverage Reset Supports Breakout Case
Additionally, top analyst Crypto Patel noted that XRP’s estimated leverage ratio on Binance has fallen to one of its lowest levels since 2024. His chart suggests leverage has been flushed out, open interest is cooling, and the market is resetting after months of heavy pressure.

Lower leverage can reduce forced selling risk, especially when price stabilizes near support. It also means a future move may depend more on spot demand and fresh positioning than crowded futures exposure.
Patel compared the current deleveraging phase with a previous setup that preceded a 790% rally. He also warned that history does not repeat exactly, but that large rallies can follow excess leverage leaving the market.
For now, XRP crypto buyers need to reclaim $1.18 to confirm the wedge breakout. A move through that zone could shift attention toward $1.60, while losing $1.05 would weaken the current bottoming setup.
