AAVE traded near $101 after breaking above a descending trendline that had guided price action for several months. The recovery followed a rebound from June lows and brought the token back above several key moving averages, although further gains depend on sustained trading above the breakout zone.
While the breakout has improved the short-term picture, Aave crypto has a few resistance levels to overcome before a stronger recovery becomes possible. Analysts are watching the $103 breakout area first, while $125 and $140 could become the next targets if buying pressure continues.
AAVE Price Escapes Its Long-Term Downtrend
AAVE price trades near $101 after reclaiming both the 21-day and 50-day moving averages. Crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe noted that AAVE price is one of the few altcoin charts beginning to show a possible shift from a downtrend toward an uptrend.

For several months, sellers controlled the market and repeatedly pushed AAVE into lower highs. However, the latest rebound pushed the token above the descending resistance line, suggesting that the previous bearish structure is starting to weaken.
The next psychological level the buyers would have to defend is the $100 mark, as a failure to hold this level could potentially cause a breakout to fail. If AAVE crypto holds above this area, previous resistance may begin acting as support and give bulls a stronger foundation for another move higher.
Van de Poppe places the next major resistance close to $125. Once buyers clear that level, AAVE could continue toward $140, although sellers may become more active around that zone due to earlier price reactions.
Rectangle Pattern Supports Another Move
Meanwhile, Crypto With Gopal highlighted a rectangle pattern that developed after AAVE’s sharp recovery from the June low. Price continues to move within a defined range, while buyers repeatedly absorb selling pressure near the upper boundary.

The pattern places immediate resistance around $103, which sits only slightly above the current market price. A decisive move above this barrier, together with stronger trading volume, could confirm the next stage of the recovery.
Aave crypto previously fell toward $60 before buyers stepped in and started rebuilding the market structure. Since then, the token has formed a series of higher lows, while each pullback has attracted renewed demand from buyers.
At the same time, price continues to hold above its short-term moving averages, which supports the bullish setup. Still, a rejection at $103 could keep AAVE inside the rectangle and extend the consolidation before another breakout attempt develops.
Trendline Break Shifts the Market Structure
Moreover, Ece Vortex also pointed to AAVE’s move above a multi-month resistance trendline. The breakout follows a long sequence of lower highs, so the latest price action signals a meaningful change in the balance between buyers and sellers.

The daily chart shows Aave crypto crossing the descending line around the $100 region. If buyers keep the price above the former resistance, the token could gradually move toward previous supply areas near $120 and $130.
This recovery also follows strong buying activity around the June accumulation zone. After hitting the lowest levels, demand resumed, and that support took AAVE back a significant amount of the erased losses.
AAVE Crypto Recovery Path
Elsewhere, Ömer identified a possible bottoming structure on the higher timeframe, which supports a broader recovery outlook. His chart highlighted several resistance zones that could become relevant if AAVE clears its immediate technical barriers.

The first major level is near $142.53, with additional resistance at $176.44 and $212.16. These levels represent longer-term targets, as AAVE crypto must first complete its current recovery phase.
