ONDO price climbed above $0.50 on Sept. 24 after Ondo Finance launched Intelligent Portfolios. The first three products use investment strategies developed by BlackRock specifically for Ondo.
CoinMarketCap showed ONDO near $0.519 when checked, up roughly 25% over 24 hours. The timing linked the rally
BlackRock Strategies Move Onchain Through Ondo
Ondo launched seven Intelligent Portfolios, including three built around strategies developed by BlackRock for the platform. The products combine different asset classes within a single tokenized investment structure.
The first three BlackRock-powered portfolios are BLKHIon, BLKDIGon and BLKGRWon. They target high-income, diversified growth, and high-growth strategies, respectively.
Each portfolio can hold combinations of stock, bond, and Bitcoin exchange-traded funds based on its investment mandate. Ondo then issues one transferable token representing exposure to the underlying portfolio.
When investors purchase these tokens, the system allocates capital to the assets that support each strategy. Programmatic rebalancing can then adjust portfolio weights as required.
Eligible non-U.S. investors can access the products through supported wallets, exchanges, and decentralized finance applications. The portfolios are available through Ethereum and BNB Chain infrastructure.
BlackRock executive Lisa O’Connor said tokenization creates new channels for delivering established portfolio strategies. She added that diversified allocations can be delivered through one digital investment instrument.
The structure does not provide direct shareholder rights in the underlying securities. However, token holders can transfer positions around the clock and potentially use them within DeFi markets.
Ondo Crypto Rally Draws Higher Derivatives Positioning
The product announcement was followed by a sharp move in Ondo Crypto, with ONDO trading around $0.52. The token had already recovered strongly from September lows near the $0.33 area.
Derivatives data also showed traders increasing bullish exposure during the recovery. The OI-weighted funding rate remained positive and recently approached 0.02%.
Positive funding means leveraged long positions are paying short positions within perpetual futures markets. That pattern indicates more traders are positioning for continued upside.

The move differs from August, when funding periodically turned negative while ONDO weakened. Since September, price and funding have moved higher together.
However, rising positive funding can also increase short-term liquidation risk if momentum weakens. Heavily leveraged long positions may unwind quickly during a deeper pullback.
Holding the $0.45 area would keep the recent recovery structure intact. Continued acceptance above $0.50 would keep attention on higher resistance levels.
Ondo Price Tests $0.52 as Momentum Strengthens
The Ondo Price recently broke above its consolidation range and pushed beyond the upper Bollinger Band near $0.4806. That move shows momentum has accelerated after the September recovery.
The MACD line has climbed toward 0.0266, while the signal line sits near 0.0135. The positive histogram also shows that bullish momentum remains active.

ONDO is now testing resistance around $0.52-$0.524, making this the immediate level for buyers. A daily close above that zone could expose $0.54 and $0.56.
The first support sits near $0.48, which aligns with the upper Bollinger Band. Below that, the $0.44-$0.46 range becomes the next support area.
A deeper retracement could bring the Bollinger midline near $0.387 back into focus. For now, ONDO remains above its breakout zone as traders assess whether the BlackRock-linked launch can sustain demand.
