Key Insights:
- Dogecoin defends key $0.142–$0.160 support zone, historically linked to strong buyer interest and past rebounds.
- MVRV at -15.43% signals undervaluation; RSI near 30 shows seller exhaustion, hinting at possible price recovery.
- DOGE options volume jumps 222%, Binance long/short ratio at 2.61—traders anticipate a breakout toward $0.21.
Dogecoin (DOGE) is trading around $0.154 as of June 23, rebounding from a low of $0.142 over the weekend. The price zone between $0.142 and $0.160 has become an important area of support.
Historical data from November 2024 to date shows repeated buying activity in this range. As Dogecoin holds this key zone, traders and analysts are now following for a potential recovery toward $0.21.
Dogecoin Price Signals Potential Recovery Amid Market Caution
Dogecoin’s recent market performance suggests a cautiously optimistic outlook, as several key indicators point toward a potential recovery. According to Santiment data, the 30-day Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio has dipped to -15.43%, signaling that most short-term DOGE holders are currently in the red.
Historically, such negative MVRV values often align with undervalued market conditions, where traders become less inclined to sell at a loss, thereby reducing selling pressure.
This decreased willingness to sell may lay the groundwork for a rebound. The RSI (Relative Strength Index) is also showing signs of seller exhaustion, further strengthening the bullish outlook. When combined with the MVRV’s current levels, these indicators suggest that the market may have reached a local bottom.
Previous instances in late April and early June saw similar MVRV dips followed by notable price recoveries for Dogecoin.

Market participants are now closely watching for renewed buying interest. If buying momentum builds at these levels, Dogecoin could enter a new recovery phase. While risks remain, on-chain data points to growing optimism.
Derivatives and Trader Activity Signal Cautious Optimism
Derivatives and trading activity around Dogecoin suggest a cautiously optimistic market outlook. While overall futures volume has dipped slightly to $5.01B (2.33%) and open interest fell marginally by 0.46%, these declines point to a temporary consolidation phase rather than a bearish reversal.
In contrast, the options market tells a different story — with volume soaring 222% to $285.29K and open interest rising over 20%, traders appear to be anticipating heightened volatility and are opening new positions in preparation for a significant move.
Long/short ratios at Binance (2.61) and OKX (3.07) show that retail and institutional players alike are gearing up towards the upside. This same trend is reflected in top traders, where long-biased positions are greater than 2x short positions.

This increasing confidence, along with the relatively consistent price action, makes allusion to the market participants being all but ready to have the upward momentum back once consolidation is over.
The liquidation levels also support the push up. Shorts have also been killed to the tune of $5.32M over the past 24 hours compared to longs at $1.86M indicating a short squeeze. Provided this trend must continue, Dogecoin will likely soon face a barrier at $0.21.
DOGE Defends Key Price Zone After Market Pullback
According to TradingView’s chart for DOGE, Dogecoin Price is currently defending a key demand zone between $0.13059 and $0.16000 after a recent pullback. Dogecoin price hit new two month low at 0.142 and then surged a bit up to 0.15474 that recorded a 2.28% growth daily. The zone has been instrumental of late as it led to sharp recoveries in March and April 2025.
Technicals show that bullish reversal is possible. The RSI value is also 30.99 and is approaching the oversold level, which can be considered as an indication that the selling force is declining.

Fibonacci retracement levels demonstrate that price has held up at 0.0 level of $0.13059 and volume is holding steady indicating no signs of panicked selling or accumulation. These indications are an indication that the buyers are entering the arena again.
Provided that the demand zone keeps its position, we may expect that the resistance levels of around 0.18 and 0.21 may be reached by DOGE. However, a bearish scenario would be rejected in case of a firm breakdown under the level of 0.13059, which would increase a downward trend towards 0.08910.
