Solana (SOL) price is showing strong momentum early this week, steadily hovering above the $180 mark despite recent pullbacks. After breaking out from a consolidation zone, SOL continues to gain traction with buyers defending key support levels.
The price was pressing into the $180–$190 range at press time, backed by strong technicals and on-chain strength.
The bullish momentum comes after a major rally last week that pushed Solana price past the $200 level for the first time in six months. This move, which occurred on July 22nd, marked a significant milestone and was accompanied by a 30% monthly gain.
As a result, Solana‘s market capitalization climbed above $100.53 billion, reflecting growing investor interest.
After the boom, a quick cooling period occurred, but analysts believe the general pattern is still bullish. The market participants appear optimistic about a price range of $200 to $250. Buyers continue to show activity, although momentum indicators are showing green.
An official breakout of the current zone can be the booster of this upcoming leg up. However, the wider crypto market is taken up by sideways movement. Bitcoin was looking sideways at $117K. Ethereum traded at its support, but bulls aim to rise above $4,000.
Nevertheless, despite consolidation, bullish sentiment remained strong and backed big altcoins such as Solana crypto.
Analyst Predicts Solana Price Rally Toward $200–$250 Soon
Crypto analyst TANG has highlighted a potential bullish move in the Solana price, pointing to a confirmed breakout backed by strong volume. The analyst noted that a retest of recent levels could pave the way for further upward momentum.
The analyst believes that Solana has sailed past a critical resistance area and might now be gearing up to advance in its next leg. The volume indicators also hinted at the breakout, signaling great buying interest and the possibility of further continuation.
TANG suggested that if the retest holds, the next price targets for $SOL are $220 and $250, respectively.
It has shown this upward shift since a stable period of consolidating, and seems to show renewed hope among traders. The recent price development showed that bulls were possibly gaining control, especially when they were able to hold key support with the retest.
Solana ETF Approval Odds Hit 99%
The likelihood of a Solana ETF receiving regulatory approval in 2025 has surged past 99%, according to Polymarket data.
Investor optimism has reached record levels on the market, with odds climbing by a substantial 25%. The rise took place amid steadily bullish sentiment in the crypto ETF sphere and a mounting tide of institutional attention toward Solana.
Trade volumes above $307,000 on this prediction indicated vigorous participation from both traders and speculators.
Solana Held Above $180 as Bulls Target Key Resistance Near $200
Solana price maintained strength above the support zone, closing the session at $186. The daily gain of 1.03% reflected a sustained bullish sentiment, despite recent resistance at the $200 mark.
Technical indicators showed that there was continued bullish pressure. The relative strength index (RSI) closed at 60.91, firmly above the neutral 50 range but below the green line 70, indicating an overbought condition. That showed there was still further upside without any imminent wearing out.

Also, the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) remained steady at 0.28, indicating steady input of capital and constructive accumulation.
SOL encountered notable resistance near the $200 psychological zone earlier this week. A breakout above this level could expose the asset to higher resistance targets around $220 and $250. Beyond that, the $260 level could emerge as a stretch target, depending on volume support.
On the negative side, the immediate support for Solana price was at around $180. A break below this level could result in a retracement to the $165-$170 area that was in the past consolidation support.
