Key Insights:
- Analyst believe that Solana price must clear resistance of around $210 before increasing to around $360.
- Active Solana whales own at least 10K+ SOL, and the total addresses reached 5,224.
- Chart indicated a possible fall to $176, followed by an upside break to Fibonacci levels.
Solana price is nearing a critical breakout level, with analysts predicting a surge toward $360 if bulls surpass $210. The whale holding levels are at the highest levels ever which entails very high investor confidence prior to potential ETF approval.
However, after recently halting Solana ETF processes, the SEC has complicated it even more, but a decision is anticipated in October 2025.
Solana Price Approaches Key Breakout Zone
Analyst Ali Martinez identified a sustained ascending triangle pattern on the Solana chart, with $210 as the breakout trigger. His chart indicated a potential pullback to $176, where the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement may occur, then followed by a substantial rise.
A confirmation of the breakout above $210 could lead to $250, $277, $321, and ultimately $362. Solana price action remains supported by a long-term uptrend line that began in early April, reinforcing the bullish case.

Martinez further described how it might be the final buy-the-dip chance before a significant rally. The bullish structure is validated by the rising lows reflecting the prevalence of buying pressure.
A solid breakout past the $210 level may present a considerable upside, with more technical indicators suggesting upside. The ascending trendline that has guided Solana price since early April reinforced this bullish scenario.
SOL Whale Accumulation Reaches Record Levels
Furthermore, on-chain data shared by Martinez showed wallets holding at least 10,000 SOL climbed to a record 5,224. The holdings of each wallet are approximated to be $2 million, signifying massive investor confidence.

Such a move reinforces the bullish technicals since the buying can gain momentum to exceed resistance. The trend accumulation and chart pattern increased the bullish case for a further rally.
SEC Pushes Back on Solana ETFs
On August 14, SEC said it was postponing its consideration of Solana ETF proposals by Bitwise, 21Shares, and Canary Capital. SEC decision deadline extended to October 16, 2025, the maximum extension allowed under its rules. The regulator argued that it required more time to review suggested rule modifications.

Nevertheless, Bloomberg ETF analysts James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas are still optimistic, indicating that there is a 95% chance of approval.
Seyffart observed that more positive interactions between SEC and issuers, as well as recent amendments, pointed to constructive discussions. Beyond these three issuers, other major asset managers like VanEck, Grayscale, CoinShares, Franklin Templeton, Fidelity, and Invesco Galaxy also seek approval for Solana-based products.
Analyst’s Projection for a New High
Meanwhile, another analyst stated that the Solana price is poised for a move toward $295 following a completed five-wave correction. This chart marked the move origin support zone between $180 and $185 as the determining factor in sustaining bullish activity.
Such a range can be used as a basis for a quick breakthrough above $210 level. Upon clearing, the path to $295 can attain minimum resistance.

The analyst’s outlook complemented the bullish sentiment from whale accumulation and ETF optimism. He emphasized that the $210 breakout level is essential for accelerating SOL price gains.
Nevertheless, should it break, it may quickly rebound to the $295 area before the end of the year. His forecast provided additional support to the increasing optimism over Solana price prospects of substantial gains in the short term.
