Solana price faces a critical point. There, key supports are being tested and would determine the direction of the coin in the short term.
Analysts are also monitoring whether the price can rebound to $230. Resistance zones and the bullish chart patterns indicated that SOL price may show great price action in the upcoming weeks.
Support Levels and Action Analysis for Solana Price
Solana price has been under pressure over the past few weeks, and support areas have been in focus. According to EmperorBTC, the Quarterly and August Open were vigorously defended.
These levels have provided crucial support in recent days. The $178–$180 zone is a key area for SOL price action. If these levels hold, the crypto could experience a short-term bounce.

Given the prevailing market conditions, the analyst indicated that the Solana price could hit $230 by year-end. Nevertheless, the general market conditions will determine whether Solana can maintain these support points.
Bullish Patterns Indicated a Possible Rally for Solana Price
Trader Tardigrade’s recent analysis suggested a bullish trend forming for the Solana price. He observed a potential shoulders and head reversal, a bullish signal depicting a breakout.
The trend implied that the price of Solana might surpass the $190 resistance, a key resistance that traders were monitoring. After breaking the resistance, Tardigrade anticipated that Solana crypto would head towards $230.

The analysis of Tardigrade revealed that SOL price action was in an uptrend. This could hit resistance levels in the coming days. The formation of higher lows was a powerful indication and also further proved that a breakout was close to occurring.
An upside breakout above the $190 level might initiate a bold rally towards the $230 target. This indicates a significant bullish flip of the Solana price.
Solana’s Transaction Throughput and Network Developments
On the weekend, Solana’s network experienced a significant increase in transaction volumes. Mert Mumtaz, co-founder of Helius, reported that Solana achieved a remarkable 107,540 transactions per second (TPS).
It’s the first major blockchain to do so. However, most of these transactions were “noop” program calls. This doesn’t involve meaningful state changes.
Despite this, Mumtaz clarified that Solana’s network can handle 80,000 to 100,000 transactions per second. This applies to more complex tasks like token transfers and oracle updates.

These spikes were, however, far off the actual TPS, at around 1,050 TPS. The high concentration of transactions on validator voting distorted the actual throughput of Solana and skewed the numbers.

Despite these anomalies, Solana’s network performance and scalability improvements continued to signal positive growth for the blockchain. These trends imply that Solana has continued to streamline its network, enabling more complicated transactions in the future.
Analyst Insights on Solana Price Movements
Furthermore, Ali’s analysis provided a short-term outlook for the SOL price. Utilizing the TD Sequential indicator, Ali noted that a buy signal has been provided, indicating a potential short-term recovery.
However, Ali cautioned that this rebound might be short-lived, with further downside possible afterward. He believes Solana price could have lower lows once the rebound is over, especially in the next few weeks.

Ali pointed out that market sentiment was crucial in predicting SOL price movements. The buy signal demonstrated the possibility of short-run recovery.
However, the general trend was based on the development of the broader market situation. Ali cautioned that Solana would likely lose some of its gains if the market continued to be pressured.
