Google’s upcoming AI model, Gemini 3.0, is attracting major attention. A prediction market on Polymarket shows strong belief that the model will launch by November 22. The odds are now at 88% and over $1.3 million has been wagered.
The buzz intensified after Google CEO Sundar Pichai responded with a cryptic emoji. This sent odds surging from 69%. Google is also integrating prediction market data into its products.
These developments show how public sentiment and financial speculation are shaping tech expectations.
Polymarket Bets on Gemini 3.0
Polymarket is a blockchain-based prediction platform. It allows users to bet on real-world events using cryptocurrency. One of its most active markets is about Gemini 3.0’s release date. The market asks whether Google will release Gemini 3.0 by November 22.
As of mid-November, the market showed a 69% chance of release by that date. Users could buy “Yes” shares at 69¢ or “No” shares at 32¢, with total wagers exceeding $800,000. Odds have since climbed to 88% amid heightened speculation.
This level of activity reflects strong public interest in Google’s AI roadmap. The market will resolve based on public availability. A private or closed beta will not count. Only a general release or open beta will trigger a “Yes” outcome.
Sundar Pichai’s Cryptic Response
The speculation gained traction on social media. A X post from the account “Alphabetting” highlighted the Polymarket odds. It tagged Google’s stock symbol ($GOOG) and suggested a release next week.

At the time of that post, odds stood at 69% for a November 22 launch. In response, Google CEO Sundar Pichai posted two “thinking face” emojis on X (formerly Twitter). He neither confirmed nor denied the release.
The emojis were interpreted as a hint by many observers, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Odds jumped quickly, hitting ~76% for a November 18 release. By November 16, the chance of release by November 22 rose to 88%.
This added fuel to the speculation. Pichai’s response was widely shared and discussed. It created more buzz around Gemini 3.0 and the prediction market. The timing of the tweet aligned with rising market odds.
Google Embraces Prediction Markets
Google has embraced prediction market data into its products. It was announced in early November that Google Search and Google Finance will display live odds from Polymarket and Kalshi. These platforms offer crowd-sourced forecasts on various topics.

This move brings blockchain-based forecasting into the mainstream. Users will see real-time probabilities for events like tech launches, elections, and economic indicators. Google aims to enhance its financial tools with sentiment-driven insights.
The integration reflects a broader strategy. Google is blending AI, finance, and public opinion. It positions the company as a leader in transparent forecasting. It also shows confidence in decentralized data sources.
This development is part of Google’s push to expand Gemini’s reach. Gemini Deep Research is already being used in Google Finance. It helps users analyze market trends using AI and prediction data.
