Cardano crypto is close to reaching a rare governance milestone after its Critical Integrations Budget gained more than 51% DRep approval in just over 24 hours.
The proposal remains open for the set 30-day period as the network reviews major plans for new infrastructure and partnerships.
Fast Support Pushes Governance Proposal Forward
Cardano crypto moved quickly toward a rare governance result after its Critical Integrations Budget gained strong backing from DReps.
The proposal passed the 51% approval point a little more than a day after voting opened.
Meanwhile, the governance action will stay open for the full 30-day period, which is required before it can be considered approved and ready for review by the Constitutional Committee.
Intersect reported the early progress and explained that the Steering Committee plans to raise the related Treasury Withdrawal at the same time.

This step would allow DReps to cast votes while the full seven-member Constitutional Committee prepares to return.
The Committee includes the founding entities, Intersect, and the Midnight Foundation.
Several DReps have shared reasons for supporting the proposal. One DRep said Cardano crypto needs stronger top-down adoption to reach new users.
The DRep said partnerships with larger firms would require stable infrastructure, which the proposal is designed to deliver. Key needs include a Tier-1 stablecoin, Chainlink integration, and deeper liquidity.
The DRep pointed out that tools such as analytics platforms and cross-chain bridges already exist through Catalyst funding.
Another bridge was also approved in a recent Catalyst round. The DRep asked for clearer details on why new spending is needed in these areas.
As detailed, the proposal outlines goals but does not include a full breakdown of costs, and the DRep stated that this would help voters understand how the $ 70 million ADA budget would be utilized.
Notably, the plan includes milestone funding, oversight, and an external audit. Any unused funds would return to the Treasury, with administrative costs set at 5%.
Some community members said a more detailed list of those expenses would be useful.
Treasury Position Strengthens Network Capacity
Cardano’s treasury has continued to grow, which gives the network more capacity to support upgrades.
A community member noted that Cardano crypto holds the fourth-largest treasury when counted with its own coins.
This provides a base for projects that aim to fill gaps in the ecosystem, including stablecoin development and oracle support.
The budget proposal directs funds toward areas that many users see as overdue. The absence of a Tier-1 stablecoin remains a major issue.
Some members of the community said entities such as EMURGO or the Cardano Foundation could add extra funding if needed.
One user recalled that the Foundation had mentioned plans for an eight-figure amount to support stablecoin work. Some expect part of that sum to serve as liquidity.
The Steering Committee says the proposal reflects current needs and aims to prepare the ecosystem for more activity.
Several DReps said the work should have begun a year earlier, right after on-chain governance launched. However, the majority said they are glad to see a coordinated plan.
Market Observers Discuss Whether Cardano Crypto Is Undervalued
It is worth mentioning that some market watchers have begun to ask whether Cardano might be undervalued.
One observer pointed to weekly RSI readings that show several bullish divergences. Meanwhile, these patterns have not appeared in some time, according to the comment.

The observer said incoming products such as ETFs, oracles, stablecoins, and wider institutional access could influence interest.
Cardano now faces a key test as the voting period continues. The Critical Integrations Budget could mark a major moment for the network if it passes the final stages.
The result would guide how Cardano crypto strengthens its infrastructure and prepares for broader adoption in the months ahead.
