- Shiba Inu’s 30-day MVRV ratio hit -30.76%, signaling a potential recovery as past dips in this range led to double-digit rebounds.
- SHIB surged 10% in 24 hours but must rally 549% to erase a zero, facing resistance at $0.00002 and $0.000025 amid weak market sentiment.
- RSI at 30 places SHIB near the oversold zone, yet a low trading volume of 875M limits the chances of a strong breakout or sustained rally.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) price recovered by 10% within 24 hours after enduring three consecutive days of loss.
Recent market-wide sell-offs have resulted in extensive liquidations while the general cryptocurrency market stabilizess.
The upward potential of SHIB gains strength according to an important technical indicator which indicates a potential price increase.
MVRV Ratio Drops to a Two-Year Low
Shiba Inu currently holds a negative -30.76% MVRV ratio which represents its lowest point in two years. The MVRV metric reveals current investor profit or loss statistics for SHIB buyers during the past month.
An MVRV ratio between -30 and -15 signifies that short-term investors are currently losing money which presents a possible recovery signal.

Notably, previous market behavior indicates that SHIB price often recovers after its MVRV ratio moves between the ranges of -15% and -30%.
A previous price reversal occurred at this strategic level which triggered increases of more than ten digits. Based on historical patterns SHIB price could enter into an upward movement within the short-term period.
The ability of the token to maintain an upward trend depends largely on market conditions combined with investor sentiment.
Shiba Inu Faces Resistance Despite 10% Price Surge
Meanwhile, SHIB price demonstrated a 10% price increase during the last 24 hours and reached the current price level of $0.00001571.
The token exhibited a rebound from its recent devastating decrease which led it to lose substantial gains. SHIB price seeks to advance further but needs to overcome significant resistance levels.
Hence, for SHIB to erase a zero from its price and reach $0.0001, it would need a 549% rally from its current level.
This level of growth is challenging given the recent market weakness. Resistance at $0.00002 and $0.000025 could slow any potential upward movement. If SHIB fails to break through these levels, the price may remain within a consolidation phase.
Additionally, to support the bullish outlook, recent analysis shows a significant rise in mid-tier SHIB accumulation, with investors holding 0.1% to 1% of the total supply increasing their holdings to 155.97 trillion SHIB.
Simultaneously, exchange reserves dropped 27.4%, signaling reduced selling pressure, while a 1000% surge in token burns may further boost scarcity.
RSI Nears Oversold Zone, Low Trading Volume Restricts Momentum
More so, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) for SHIB currently stands at 30, placing it near the oversold territory. This suggests that selling pressure has been dominant, but it also indicates the possibility of a trend reversal if buying activity increases.
Historically, an RSI near this level has preceded price recoveries, though external market factors remain influential.

However, despite the technical setup suggesting a possible recovery, Shiba Inu trading volume has declined to $875 Million.
A lower trading volume reflects reduced participation from traders, which may limit the token’s ability to sustain a strong breakout.
