- Solana trades at $192.19 as Open Interest and CVD decline
- Solana ETF speculation grows as institutional demand rises
Franklin Templeton strengthened its blockchain activities by bringing its FOBXX tokenized treasury fund to Solana (SOL). This accelerated blockchain adoption.
The fund operates on eight blockchain platforms since traditional financial institutions increasingly require tokenized assets. The corporation cited Solana’s scalability and efficiency in making this strategic step.
Additionally, Franklin Templeton registered the Franklin Solana Trust with Delaware as an indication of developing a Solana-based ETF fund. The company has utilized blockchain technology by starting Ethereum and Stellar-based tokenized fund offerings.
It asserts that blockchain technology can transform financial markets by enabling quick, inexpensive, and broader market access. The firm established the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund. This represents the launch of a U.S.-registered mutual fund built on public blockchain technology.
Through the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund, the company manages more than $295 Million worth of assets. It operates across several systems, thus demonstrating its position as a leader in tokenized finance.
Franklin Templeton Advances with Solana ETF Amid Regulatory Challenges
Tokenized assets continue to attract institutional investors and significant enterprises. This includes BlackRock and JPMorgan, who have entered the market.
This led Franklin Templeton to advance its business model to serve increasing client needs for fast and transparent investing procedures. Meanwhile, blockchain investment vehicles face increasing regulatory oversight because they have become increasingly popular.
The SEC thoroughly examines tokenized funds because they need to validate regulatory oversight over these assets. Despite these challenges, Franklin Templeton shows enduring support toward digital assets.
However, the company believes these assets will transform financial operations in the coming years. If approved, a Solana ETF would unlock more institutional participation. It could further boost access to blockchain-based financings if it receives regulatory approval.
By taking this step, Franklin Templeton will strengthen its market dominance. It would implement this move between traditional financial systems and digital finance.
Solana Crypto Faces Pressure Amid Market Shifts
The price of Solana had dropped to $192.19 during the trading day. It stood at a 0.42% decrease at press time despite reaching a daily peak of $193.43.
However, SOL price fell to $192.03. Current trading volume stands at 10.616M despite rising bearish sentiment in the market.
Sellers are leading buyers by a significant margin. This was indicated based on the negative value of -5.85M within the Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD). Additionally, the aggregated Spot CVD figure amounting to -2.45M supports the Solana price movement’s negative direction.

The positive Funding Rate stood at 0.0061. At the same time, the declining values of Open Interest reached 6.026M. This reflected diminishing trader participation.
Despite this, the Bid-Ask Delta value at 51.829K indicated purchase interest exists. However, it has not managed to stop the market downtrend.
The stability of SOL price could occur when it remains at $192, offering potential market consolidation. However, the Solana price recovery may fail to materialize.
If this happens, there may be even further declines. In that instance, there will be no recovery since trading activity and interest rate movements will detect essential signs.
