Ethereum (ETH) price has fluctuated around $2,600 to $2,800, showing elevated price instability. The asset reported a 1.0% downfall throughout the last 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
Statistics also revealed a 19.3% downward trend in Ethereum during the previous month. However, the market intelligence platform Santiment pointed toward a future market recovery.
Ethereum Price Recovery and On-Chain Data Indicate Bullish Sentiment
According to Santiment, Ethereum price showed indications of recovery, having reached $2,745. The asset has outperformed many altcoins at the start of the week.
Long-term on-chain data revealed the continued movement of ETH from exchanges to cold storage. Only 6.38% of Ethereum’s circulating supply remains on exchanges, marking the lowest level since its inception.

Santiment data further highlighted an increase in Ethereum’s social dominance. The asset now accounts for 9.2% of crypto-related discussions across platforms. Over the past two weeks, 0.83% of the Ethereum supply has been moved off exchanges.
ETH Staking Participation Continues to Expand
Staking data showed continuous expansion since more addresses are participating in staking contracts. During the last 7 days, staking participation numbers increased by 0.32%, although over 30 days, this figure rose by 2.03%.

Further, the crypto saw a 7.69% increase in the past 90 days. Stability in this pattern reveals increased users who chose to lock their assets and decreased market liquidity.
Other Analysts Also See Potential For Ethereum
Analysts in the market sector present different viewpoints regarding ETH’s present movements. Stockmoney Lizards observed the Ethereum price rejection at a major liquidity area following a small trading volume increase.
The asset maintains its position throughout a specific zone as accumulation continues. Per the analyst, numerous range retrials are needed so trading positions can absorb the sell orders. The analyst says,
“RSI is increasing, and some retests of this range are needed to absorb all the sell orders.”
Another analyst noted that the Ethereum price pattern aligns with a multi-year ascending triangle. The structure, characterized by higher lows, indicated the beginning of an accumulation period. Such a breakout in altcoin would start a period of price discovery.
Moving ahead, the crypto enthusiast account on X, named venturefounder, made some predictions on ETH. The analyst forecasted the Ethereum price to reach $18,000 by November 2025.
The revision of the prediction incorporates a double-bottom pattern. Also, the token must achieve $4,000 before mid-2025.
Ethereum’s Volatility and Market Sentiment
Ethereum has lagged behind Bitcoin for six months. Markus Thielen from 10x Research identified the asset’s price movement as increasingly volatile, creating a high-risk, high-reward environment.
He pointed out that Ethereum swings have been less predictable than Bitcoin’s. The upcoming catalysts are ETF approvals and network upgrades.
According to Thielen, negative sentiment provides signals that suggest possible market opportunities. According to his analysis, downturns have brought about substantial economic recovery periods.
The decline in Ethereum price coincided with movements in competing ecosystems such as Solana. This was due to concerns with meme coin activity and a drop in coin issuance frequency.
