Key Insights:
- Chainlink price rebounded 1.45% after 2.2 million tokens were withdrawn, suggesting rising retail accumulation.
- LINK’s exchange supply dropped to a monthly low, reinforcing a potential price surge.
- Long liquidations outpaced shorts by 8x, while Open Interest dipped 1.65%, signaling reduced speculation.
Chainlink price indicates growth potential evidenced by recent increased retail buying along with exchange supply reductions. LINK needs to surpass its vital resistance mark at $19 before it can establish an upward price trend. The market sentiment at present stems from retail accumulation alongside exchange flow trends and speculative behavior within futures markets.
Chainlink Price Rebound Suggests Rising Retail Accumulation
CryptoQuant data shows that Chainlink price increased 1.45% after 2.2 million LINK tokens were withdrawn at $17.80. Retail investors’ accumulation of LINK is an important component of the digital asset price change factors. Token withdrawals by retail investors from exchanges typically reflect their belief in long-term price increases.

Notably, retail investor withdrawal of LINK from exchanges caused a continual price increase indicating expanding token demand. Chainlink price could experience diminished selling pressure alongside rising demand over time which enhances its potential to overcome the $19 resistance level.
Exchange Supply Decline
Meanwhile, Chainlink token exchange supply diminished to its lowest levels for the month as retail investors began accumulating the asset. A drop in LINK tokens available for trading on exchanges creates upward pressure on LINK price because fewer tokens are available for immediate selling.
Hence, the falling supply of exchange-supplied LINK tokens makes it highly possible for the prices to rise. Similar price patterns from the past indicate that there is a positive price action after the exchange supply drops due to rising retail investor support.
Meanwhile, Chainlink network adoption is growing, as new LINK addresses have climbed 6.08% over the past week. Total active addresses were up 2.42% and addresses with zero balance increased 3.83%. The market is dominated by large investors, as 18 whale addresses own 48.15% of circulating supply. In Real World Asset sector development, Chainlink leads with 669.2 points.
Futures Market Show Speculation and Reduced Open Interest
More so, Chainlink price is influenced by futures market activity which helps anticipate the asset’s movement. According to Coinglass data Futures market traders are exiting their long positions at a rate 8 times higher than they are closing short positions according to recent data. The declining supply on exchanges coupled with increased retail participation caused brief fluctuations in Chainlink prices.

Open Interest (OI) data indicates a slight reduction of 1.65% in its value which is indicative of a decrease in speculative trading. A drop in Open Interest levels could signal that traders become less active, potentially leading to increased market price stability.
Therefore, LINK price could experience a longer-lasting uptrend because reduced market speculation would create a less volatile ecosystem. If this pattern persists, LINK could see a more rise toward higher price levels, including breaking the critical $19 resistance level.
At the time of writing, Chainlink price was up 2.11% at $18.37. The market cap stood at $11.72 billion, while the 24-hour trading volume was $395.22 million.
