Bitoin Price Expectations Amid Recent Bullishness: All There’s to Know

Key Insights

  • Bitcoin price surged 10.3% to $86,000 after a sharp 9.3% drop in late February.
  • Trump’s crypto summit could impact Bitcoin price and policy outlook.
  • Traders eye the $84,258 CME gap as a key level for potential pullback.

Bitcoin price rose to $92,000 after a volatile reckdown of 9.3%, which was recorded in the last week of February. Traders have focused their attention in this period on the key resistance and support levels. Notably, the White House Crypto Summit has affected the BTC price and the sentiment in the entire crypto industry.

Bitcoin price Holds Momentum

Bitcoin (BTC) carried Friday’s bullish momentum into the weekend, breaking a recent pattern of losing steam before Monday. The price climbed from the CME close of $84,258 to around $86,000, marking a notable recovery. Analysts are now closely watching Bitcoin’s next move as the market prepares for potential volatility.

Crypto analyst Daan Crypto Trades pointed out an important market development. A potential CME gap has formed between Bitcoin’s Friday close and its weekend price. This gap often leads to price corrections early in the trading week, making $84,258 a key level to monitor.

Trump’s Crypto Summit Gains Attention

The White House Crypto Summit scheduled for March, 7th 2025 has created interest among investors and policymakers. The White House is planning to invite representatives of the crypto industry to discuss the regulation of stablecoins, bitcoin reserves, and the regulation of digital assets. According to many traders, this event could have an effect on the direction of the Bitcoin market.

Notably, the price-altering effects of political events rely on specific policy adjustments that result from such events. Approval of Bitcoin reserve policies from the summit would likely create a bullish market sentiment.  Moreover, technical patterns will likely dominate Bitcoin price movements as long as discussion points remain unclear at the summit.

Stablecoin Regulations and Bitcoin Reserves in Focus

The summit’s exact agenda remains unclear, but stablecoin regulation is expected to be a central topic. Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett reported that this meeting will be the first in a series of discussions shaping crypto policy.

The push for stablecoin regulation follows growing pressure from lawmakers. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire recently urged stablecoin issuers to register in the United States. His comments came after Senator Bill Hagerty introduced a bill that could impact USDT and USDC market dominance.

Analyst Miles Deutscher reported that 18 U.S. states are considering Bitcoin reserve proposals, with 13 already in legislative review.

Bitcoin Price Faces Critical Levels Before the Summit

The changes in its recent price movements have been very unpredictable. From February 25 to 27, Bitcoin price went down from a high price of $86,000 to a low of $78,000, a drop of 9.3%. This resulted in the sell-off of bitcoins by some investors but bitcoin quickly restored its price level.

On February 28 Bitcoin set its value as $86,000 this being an increase of 10.3% for the day. Bitcoin fluctuations have been between $84,000 and $92,000 from the start of March up to the present time. Current trade volumes have now returned to 30-40% below those during the February market decline.

Key Levels for Bitcoin’s Next Move

Bitcoin traders are now fixed on two major outcomes. Should the bulls hold the ground, an upward trajectory may push the price up to an important level of $95,000. Such a breakout could lead to a further uptrend, which can be followed by a long bull run.

However, if the Bitcoin price stays below the level of $86,000, a correction towards the CME gap at $84,258 is possible. This level is significant for short-term movements since traders usually turn their attention to CME gaps for a possible retracement.
