Key Highlights:
- XRP outperforms Ethereum, hitting a five-year high in value ratio
- Korean traders push XRP to the top with massive Upbit trading volume
- Breakout pattern and liquidations signal a potential move to $15
XRP leads the market by surpassing Ethereum’s performance while dominating most of South Korea’s trading volume. It has recently reached its highest value against ETH in five years, and traders anticipate substantial price increases following its technical pattern breakout.
Meanwhile, XRP shows potential to advance toward $3.50 according to liquidation data and analysts forecast a more significant price increase up to $15.
XRP Surpasses Ethereum as Korean Traders Drive Demand
During the weekend, XRP achieved its highest value against ETH in five years, which indicates a transformation in market trends.
The worldwide trading market has taken notice of this price rally, but South Korean investors demonstrate substantial influence over this market movement through their trading volume.

According to recent data, the token holds the position of top cryptocurrency on Upbit, which operates as South Korea’s largest exchange, by generating $16.28 billion in 24-hour trading volume.
Meanwhile, XRP generates more than $5 billion in Korean won market, which outperforms Bitcoin and Ethereum in the market. The token maintains its position as the leading traded asset on Korean exchanges throughout the weeks, making up 13-15% of total exchange volume.
What’s even more remarkable is that the global market capitalization of XRP is majorly concentrated by South Korean investors, who currently own 16% of its total value. The high level of market demand for the cryptocurrency creates conditions for fast price changes, especially when additional buyers join the market.
Where to for XRP Price?
Beyond the trading frenzy in South Korea, the Coinglass liquidation map shows $3.50 as a significant price target because many traders have placed their stop-loss orders at this point.
Market prices tend to move toward areas where multiple liquidation orders accumulate because traders with stop losses and leveraged positions generate increased market volatility.
This aligns with XRP’s recent breakout in momentum indicators. According to a price post on X by Javon Marks, just last week, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) broke out again, which historically triggered a 6X price increase and a 470% market surge.

If history repeats, the price shows potential to experience a major rally fueled by momentum traders, combined with market liquidations that might trigger successive buying patterns.
But that’s not all. XRP price has recently broken out from a symmetrical triangle pattern on its weekly chart, which typically signals upcoming massive price increases.

Technical analyst Ali Charts predicts that XRP could reach $15 in the long term after its current breakout occurs.

Meanwhile, according to XForceGlobal, who evaluated XRP’s Korean won (KRW) pair through the Elliott Wave Theory, the asset has finished a WXY correction pattern, which indicates reduced potential for price drops.
